good that you ask that becasue some ppl seem to get confused:

we rarely enter after moves already happened = expensively

So the answer is:

YES, if you missed the first moves, and the market already went too much OR (outter range), then I suggest you stick to LIMITS, so that either the market does a pullback and you get filled at accetpable prices, or you do not get filled and miss the rest.
I think I elaborated on that some days ago.
Also, the older the move gets, the LESS leverage you should use.

The trade setups that pay best are the ones where you are NOT "late to the party".

For example, look at some days ago when I said that AU and NU were bearish, back then one had plenty of time to enter shorts, either at market or via limits. These were GOOD entry prices.

allow me to explain,
on the basis of EU now;


YES, even though some more DM longies try to once more "trade a reversal up" and therefore the SM went below the low (also see my latyest video around the end),

you can see that now we have some IR (inner range) MT stops (see yellow arrows) above the price from some DM shorties trying to trail / jump on the move.

Therefore, you are now what I call "late for the party";

the SM Algos can now do an IR "grip up" and go for the upper MTs (see how Mitchibot and me did the advanced EU long trade today; actually trading such a move).

So in other words,

EVEN THOUGH there is DM in the market, the CAUSALITY BIAS decreased again.

And after all the stop-runs down today, the DM tolerance increases again.

So remember, the best we will ever be is "semi-smart". The SM Algos will STILL be at least 2 steps ahead, we CANNOT trade ALL the moves as they do.

In such a scenario, we do med. / low conf trades, also into the tolerance.

In the EU analysis above,
note one thing;

the DM longies who came in last entered after the main runs (WITHOUT knowing it), at better prices.

So they are "lucky" (they do not know that by accident, they this time have a chance of making some pips with an idea that normally does NOT work).

So essentially when you initially posted the eu chart and the dm longs (green bars) were really high that was the entry point correct? How do you determine the target for that eu short trade? I would assume you would target the dm longs stop losses...if so how do you identify that?
