the way I see it, any sanctions or punitive measures that stop Turkey from spending more money on military hardware from America is going to be good for the TRY.

I have read some tweets which are telling that FMs of both sides will meet the issue at ASEAN meeting at Singapore between 1-4 aug..may provide some relief in Try pairs..lets see what happen there..

Keep in mind this is never ever personal. That's when I lose money. I'm looking to what the market is telling me.

Here's what I'm reading:

The market is undecided. Now, I want to know why.

The article allows me to conclude that Turkey is in between restructuring from negotiations with the US and Western Allies and negotiations with BRICs, Russia and Iran. Erdogan already had some ties to all, but the weighted dynamic looks to be changing. It hasn't fully changed yet.

I'm not looking for information that which big money is deciding. From now, I can watch these types of news releases on this topic to give me indication that the market might begin to move in one direction or another. Which direction doesn't matter to me, because I'm following the money.

Still, half the time info doesn't matter as the move occurs before I find out the information. Ergo, technical trading is most often the most effective for me.
