Those time frames are time frames that come with mt5 trading platform. CMSM 17.01 works with all time frames supported by the platform.

Yes, understood, but the question is more about your MA recommendations as the quoted timeframes of 4H, Daily, Weekly, Monthly

In respect of the various different time frames available on MT5, eg. 12H, 6H, 3H, 2H - would you make any changes or use the Daily and 4H settings for those?

Selections are jumping right now, bit of movement in the markets!

You can choose any time frame for the TimeFrame setting.

Regarding MovingAverageMultiplier Setting, do you have any particular non standard time frame in mind that you'd like to try?

Hey, when you get an opportunity could you please take a look at the expert log? See if there are any errors shown in there, is so please send a screen shot.

I ran v41 and tested for a 0.1, 1, 5, 10, and 20 pip triggers and and each time a basket was opened with no issues. The one thing that may be affecting the basket is a flag called MarketClosed. If that is set to True then the EA will not trade, it will show you everything on the chart but when the moment to trade comes it will do nothing. But based on the code it doesn't seem like that would happen...

In while I will release v42 which has reorganized the code that tells the EA when the Market is closed. That part of the code is now more exact in determining if the market is closed. It is based on the server clock. If the server clock STOPS then the EA recognizes that nothing. This is a better way of telling if the market is active or not.

So stay tunned... v42 coming up..

Yes that is one of the logs. and yes there are errors. The error 4109 u see in that log means "Trading Is Not allowed"

check all of our settings and make sure that you have "Allow Live Trade" check where ever you see that option.

I read one suggested setting is 10%SL and 5%TP but it's not specified the position sizing...at parameter "LotsperBalance" what value you recommend? It seems to me .01 lots every 100 unit currency in your equity is too much, with a 10.000$ account it opens 1 lot positions, so your SL or TP will be faster to reach I suppose, which lotsperbalance parameter you found is better for weekly basket trading and these percentages of SL and TP?

I was thinking of watching the 3 Hour on MT5 but I think I will just go for 15M while watching the 4 Hour MA's on various trade levels to gauge the strength

As you can see by this picture, very slow start to the week

Trade Level = 2 is a little bit high to start with H4 time frame. Trade Level = 1.0 instead of 2.0 would be much better. (Increment Level = 0.25 points TradeLevel=1 , 1.25, 1.50 , ...)

Recommended setting for H3 time frame (Mt5)

MovingAverageMultiplier = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 16, 32

Not a good week for the fist time in months.

Basket triggered and -10% hit, so I have activated my recovery EA to take over the active trades, and bring them back to BE.

Well I guess we can't expect a winning week every time right...

Today was my first forward testing day with the "final" settings based on what has been discussed and shared here, mainly MRDFX's+Grandaevus' settings with small changes in the EA (not in CMSM).

Waiting to see today's MRDFX's and Xmess7's result to see if they match mine. I may have configured something badly hence obtaining the wrong, opposite result as intended.

Also, on another test (see 2nd image) the VB opened and stayed stuck like this the whole morning, I don't think this was the intended behaviour so likely to be another configuration mistake on my part.

EDIT: Saw MRDFX posted as I was writing my post. Not alone then
