I found very hard to trade like eelfranz, and i think he is a very good scalper.
But i dont like the way he do about risking 10-15% per trade, you can do this if you know what are you doing.

This strategy is alot of potential and very simple.
TDI itself is great turning point indicator.
I love to used it.

The original of this strategy is created by DM.
On the latest version, APB no longer used.
It is just used TDI Pro version (not synergy TDI pro), and its used real candle only, with alert of trend and trade sentiment, and divergence.
But it still used setting 10,5,34,2,2,7,0.

Tips, uhmmm..
Another thing i used is:
1. 100 MA and 200 MA as dynamic Support-Resistance.
2. APB change color to identify previous swing to mark as Support-Resistance.
3. Move stop base on volatility.

Thanks eelfranz, the system actually work greats for me after I combine it with price action (using basic candlestick) in other time frame.

However, the system will often fail in the low volume hour (Asia market). As eelfranz said, maybe it is best only to be used at New York market hours.

Actually it can be improved if the TDI indicator have a notification system if the green line goes flat

You know stuff that I don't know and use it quite well.

Make more use of the green angle.
Three yellow lines
- closed trade when angle of green is below 5 (strong momentum)
- enter trade when green (is / was / going) flat / up.
- enter when green cross red
There are more point's to look at by using post#647 like:
- enter on bar 4 after the cross over
edit: not enter on bar 4 after the cross over
- above level 50 (lot of room to go down
- it is ok to enter on a rebound

Edit: Come to think of it. Green line does not do to sabby in detecting 3 Bar reversal and other candle pattern's

Follow the simple rules in post#647.
Understand what each rule is, what does it mean.
Practice those rules.
Know how to apply those rules.

only a small price gap when NY handover to Sydney ... FXCM live chart below.

there are other gaps which you don't see and those gaps are more useful when we trade those wide range bars.

Emm,

1. Look for Consolidation at a Fib Level
Consolidation is 2 or more candles in a given area.
Sample picture please.

2. What is different between possible swing candle and reversal candle (point 1 and 3 on checklist)?

3. What is point 4 used for? Last Swing will be between 30-60 pips.

Hi DJ,
I have collected over 15 versions of TDI (I know, stupid right?), so when you say "...It is just used TDI Pro version (not synergy TDI pro)",
I don't have a version with that name on it surprisingly. With the 10, 5, 34, 2, 2, 7, 0 settings, I could probably use a number of them to accomplish the same thing. BUT, wonder if you would share that TDI Pro version you talk of anyway. Thanks

By the way, turning those #s into "word" variables, am i interpreting them correctly this way?
