I think there was an implicit intervention to usd/try this week around 4.77.. i guess, they (cb or gov. related banks) sold usdt/try to defend currency before election..i suggest to be careful with usd/try sellings..even there is market-favourited election results, the positive effect can be temporary and can be good opportunity for usd/try longs..

Depending on election results we can see pulback to around 4.55-4.65 levels (optimistic scenario), but then probably we will go higher to 5.00 + in months.. Economic and political sitaution in Turkey will not be bright in coming months even if strong election win happen..

On the other hand, election results also may bring us to higher levels very fast if there is not a certain win by one side..there are 2 election: president election and parliament election.. if presdent and parliament are won by different political parties, situation will be more complicated...usd/try may be opened quite higher next week..

well again the try does what i want it to do hope friends here also made money we now wait and see what it wants to do , i have enough sells down here to wait with some very good swaps adding every day and if it goes up i have limit sells in place

presidency and parliament are won by same political bloc (akp+mhp)..now prices at 4.639(https://www.bulliondesk.com/fx-prices-charts/ )..
usd/try may drop more today and this week.. in medium (1-6 mnths) and long term (6months to years) i am bullish.. by the way, i m day trader, i dont hold positions more than a day..i dont recommend usd/try swing buy position due to high swaps...for swaps shorts looks attractive but in medium-long term dangerous i think, because of political and economical reasons..inflation seems to increase fast in near future..

edit: ok..i closed at ard 4.6120 with some profit..no more risk even there is potential for correction

edit: i m following hourly chart and will be waiting for good places for long (usd/try) again..so far no follow through under 4.60..but see what happen at frankfurt&london open..

hourly chart is bullish, it seems gap filling..long again at 4.64..see how

edit: closed at 4.653, will be waiting for good entry places again for long..
