The USD/JPY is trading around 110.40, not much changed for the day and below the daily high. According to the indicators ont he four hour time frame the upside remains favored despite the lack of stong bullish momentum. The pair is situated above the 61.8% Fibo and the 100-day and 200-day SMAs.

Regardless of the pair, it may be worth appreciating that Trump has secured a peace with North Korea. We can sleep easier, and the world is better of.

That was a joke, right?

Like maybe Trumpie secured a piece of azz while in Singapore.

Because the only thing that happened was a non-binding agreement was put together and a swell photo op. Oh and The Art of the Dealer agreed to halt war games and North Korea agreed to .... think things over. Some deal.

It's a clever plot to keep Kimmy quite by throwing a carrot before starting a full blown war in Syria and Iran.

111, 111.5 would be the top of the range

under 200 DMA, the risk is down

next stop for bears is 109.7?

doesn't look good for bulls as they failed to even test 111, be cautious about buying as the momentum is not there even though FOMC was very hawkish and the BOJ this week will be dovish

perfect reaction at the supply area, now possible down until the low TL of the channel and 38 fibo. Target of this wave 109 area?

I agree. Waiting is much better to see if there is a slight correction before attempting another continuation.

hi, price is falling today due the lack of buying interest, this doesn't mean bears are stronger, only bulls are weaker.
this recent up trend has not being backed up with power/volume/activity.
Activity has decrease everytime a new top was made. This kind of beahvioer means no buying interest, and by result, price tends to fall.
however, not much of bears have shown up. Only when price was spiked up during FOMC we saw the high activity on top (bear activity).
This fall since is the result. Price is now at a support area. Recent activity shows some profits has been taken in this +/-80pips fall.
however, no side (bulls/bears) have shown their cards yet.
waiting and seing if this area holds....
just my 5cents.

strange yesterday eur/usd and usd/jpy did pretty much the opposite of each other during the fed talks to today during Draghi excitement eur goes down usd/jpy nothing? any thoughts?

typical pump and dump scenario in play

pump up the balloon with hot air, encourage others to buy, then have the big boys pop the balloon and take a dump on the small guys

the crap always trickles down the hierarchy of greed, that's why you have to play with the big boys and pump/dump when they do to profit

one thing to consider, got ahead of myself

But we notice a large GAP down, as well 3 month JPY treasuries have remained below 0% and have flat lined! With some recent retreat.
