If everyone in the world trades with 1:1 leverage and is allowed to trade only one microlot per $100K of account balance, what would SM algos do? How can they win?

But if you delete your posts, then there is no sustainability.

There is no progress for the collective.

The CIQ would alwayws remain low.

It seems more rational to not do anything on a forum rather than posting and deleting.

But I could be wrong.

I am OCD and very impatient (my mind can handle a thousand things at once)... and cannot let go of the discussion... just like my participation in this thread.. deleting FREES my mind and avoid the back and forth banter and more importantly, helps me remain detox'd

As stated in my long post from today,

I am "OK" with how ForexFactory has handled the situation as described.

However, as I have also explained, they really got some work to do.

Now is the time.

The rules / procedures here need to re-designed in a way that PREVENTS issues like the one I was going through from the beginning.

For example, FF could have a proper cataloque of requirements for "high status members".

But again, as I said in my long post, who am I to judge? They have their 5m to 10m / year in broker marketing revenues,

so the only motivation to fix the issues I have described would originate from the genuine will to make the website better for USERS, so TRADERS.

I guess we will see.

Time will tell.

But one thing is for sure and should be clear now,

the ONUS is NOT on ME to support the current state of this website by investing a lot of time in this thread.

MY FREEDOM of choice is to just move away and invest that work elsewhere.

Nope. I can pay attention with immense focus, deep dive and run spatial analysis in my head like no one else. And I am not hyperactive... just severely obsessed (passionate?) with this shit to crack.. Which I think I am very close to.

This will never happen.

So I am not keen on wasting brain power on that.

But yes, some ppl. say that the FX markets and manipulation will change at some point,

maybe driven by BLOCKCHAIN technology.

I would not think so....not anytime soon...

and for me it is proven that things such as "bitcoin" are TODAY handled by the SM EXACTLY the same as FX.............look at the bitcoin chart......DM is long.....

Not necessarily,

but that also depends on your trade frequency.

So if you risk "just 1.5%" 10 times per day, then your drawdown risk is high.

yes.. trade frequency across 28 pairs... if I lose here, I am gauranteed to win there. If I lose in 5 mins, I am guaranteed to win on 15 mins... I spread (diversify) my exposure like no other thread out here on the factory. "trade small, trade often, take profits off the table and manage my overall exposure" seems to be my ticket.. but time will tell :-

I have several posts on discipline also... at the end of the day, EXECUTION (w/ discipline) is what matters imo.

Regarding drawdown... i dont care about absolute drawdowns anymore. I only care about return over MaxDD of 3+... which is sufficient for my size of capital I am willing to risk on FX. 200% per week in realized gains, 50% floating downdown, on friday close, make 150% is sufficient on a small sized account.

and again, time will tell... but my performance will actually go up with bigger account size as currently I am not able to take all my signals due to lack of available margin... more margin, less risk, more diversification etc... I am taking over your thread so I will stop here and watch from the sidelines.

Without question,

trade EXECUTION (including things such as

- risk management
- mindset
- emotions
- broker arrangements
- IT setup
- etc.)

plays a VERY important rule.

All of that comes on top of what I show.

However, in my work here, I concentrated on the actual market mechanics (micro and macro structure), so literally on WHO does WHAT and with WHICH result etc.

These "bla bla topics" (not meant in a bad way) are EQUALLY important I think.

YES, there is MUCH more to it than trading towards stops.

If you believe that this is a profitable strategy, take my warning, it is NOT.

There are phenomena such as "pre counter run moves", "blocking", "position runs", "fake SR", "fake pin", "plausibility principle" etc. apart from the META-LEVELS I never got to (HIGHLY important).
