DislikedGeorge et al, I want to make a suggestion.... slight "expansion" of the functionality of this tool.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Totally agree as that's how I trade. I hope Andrew is reading the thread and can make these changes as I have no way of contacting him. CheersIgnored
I've been staring at MADdash daily for almost 2 years now. The answer is actually very simple and I think it might just be quite easy to do - for a guy with Andrew's brilliance, of course.
Have a look at the top 'x' number of pairs in the screenshot below. Also look at where those currencies sit on the Timeframe Groups (as shown by 50d).
Here I've highlighted the top 10 pairs in the pairs list sorted as "Absolute Values". Notice the EURJPY and where it pops up in the top 10 on TF's M1-H4... (old screenshot, not today).
Here I've also highlighted the top 10 pairs (today). Notice the GBPCAD and where it sits in the top 10 on TF's M15-D1...
If a pair shows up in the top 10 list (or top 8, or whatever) on all/most TF's, you have a very, very good quality trade on hands. And I can honestly tell you that it's not that 'classical' delayed signal that will turn on you at any moment - there's still plenty movement on pairs in that top 'x' lists.
Why? This is what I observed over time: Let's say a pair sits at 8 from the top on the D1 list and it's bullish. If it's moving higher, it will also push towards the top of the lists on all/most lower TF lists as bullish. If there is no momentum, it will simply not move up on all lower TF's and as you know, it might even move to the top of the M1/M5 TF's as bearish!!. The key word here is MOST/ALL TF's in the same direction, at the same time. This is a brilliant indication of early movement in a direction.
To add to yours, my request is that Andrew adds an alert that simply tells you when a pair enters the top 'x' pairs list on all selected TF's when the pairs are sorted as absolute values. This would obviously be as either bullish or bearish on all TF's - not both bullish and bearish.
Does this makes sense? Because it certainly works!!
Cheers,
Lee
