The pair remains positive this morning, I'm expecting bullish continuation, set my target at 110.40.

Hoping for a brief retracement of sorts. Ideally I could buy at 109 on late Tuesday or Wednesday or something.

My charts suggest an opportunity at 108.95.

Jesus exactly the same as me. Specifically 108.92. All is subject to change though. I want the retrace to take a few days, then they underlying activity might be optimal for that event.

To add weight to your case, if the retracement does take a few days, those holding short swap positions will probably want to offload to stop getting stung by the negative swap, creating more buying pressure.

True, but I am bearish on the pair funnily enough. I just know that it may take some time and the ranging history makes me patient.

But yeah that swap rate is a bitch. With rate hikes on the way, downtrends could be out of the question for a time.

works better on daily chart than some Gann/wave/Fibonacci analysis witchcraft

USD/JPY is trading around 109.50, just below the 50% Fibo of latest bearish run. Indicators has lost directional strength although remain within oversold area. It seems that the pair is consolidating before next upward move.

daily trend is bearish

Entered long. If it can breach 110 it will be smooth sailing imo.

Kinda feel the fall was just a retracement but if it was a reversal I dont see it being rejected at 50% fib level.

110.00 sell limits filled I believe there will be one more run at it only 109.98 should get filled. target, 109.0x ,buy limit is at 109.01 good luck.
