U should probably test it with lower bricks just to test it because now on my pairs is just big trends so it does not take any trades. The last trade went in profit on 23th. Just one though

If u want to test cci system that i published, u can get results very fast on 2 and 3 bricks u woudnt get good results, but u see how the ea works, with the stop loss.
Here is an update from the system with cci i use from today and earlier on some pairs i have i have to correct myselves from yesterday. I thought i had an trade 23th but it wasnt

Didnt noticed that it was a bug with the gbpusd today. It should only take one trade. But instead it took two!!??

I have tried thae martingale setting, but did not work good. But i thing that the problem can be solved by installing different MT for each pair.
the results for 7 pip bricks chart was terrible.
oh okey. maybe the stop loss will be hit, is that what u are saying ?
Hi guys,
I wanted to share with you the Renko Live Charts EA which I added to version v600.4 the following changes.
First publication was by Tim Welch here, and the fixes came along the way.

Of course you could take it and add to it you current trading EAs, but do notice that this is not a trading EA version, only a renko brick chart creator.

I just felt the need to improve the existing version.
I hope you will find it useful and I would appreciate any comments on my additions.

In the source code, there is written somewhere in the beginning of the program: #import "user32.dll"
Is this some piece of code, which is necessary for the program ?
Where is this located and do we really need it ?

Question : What are standard MQL4/5 time frame constants ?

Remark : The automatic opening of the offline chart is a convenient property. Well done.
Which renko bricksize in points do you trade here? I am creating test mt4s and searching for usual sizes...

That's totally wrong 2.5 !!!
Correct Renko box size must be adjusted based on maximum spread if floating following this rule :

RenkoBoxSize = or > Maximum spread

If spread = 600 , Renko box = 600 ex: Cfd , stocks, btc
If RenkoBoxSize = 2.5 , is best to use 5 or 10 is most recommend.

Are you a programmer? I will need to fit my answer wether you're a programmer or a trader.

So,
1. Well, from "user32.dll" we take the Windows API function "RegisterWindowMessageW", which helps us emulate ticks when the market is closed, so the chart will be created anyway.
You really do need it, and if you're a programmer, you can simply follow this function and see where I use it.
If you have any further question regarding this subject, please send me a private message in order not to hijack this post and lead it to other directions.

I did not understand where you got your source from. Could you share the actual source?

I can tell you my humble opinion, I use an ATR (24) method to find the best box size, and then round it up a bit.
Thus I came to box sizes of 10-20 pips for the majors such as EURUSD, GBPUSD, GBPJPY etc...
Spread size at my end is 1-3 pips.
Coming too close to the spread, less than twice the spread will give you still a lot of noise so I don't really see the point in using Renko over other form of charting or indicator.

This is an awesome thread, thanks to the OP as well as all the contributions since day 1..... THAT SAID, what is the name of the most current version of this EA? there have been so many variations and mods, that i don't know the correct one to get.

Hi if i turn wicks to false it still shows the wicks can you take a look ?
