could be the most stupid call of my life, but i went long @todays open. Targeting 1.3040, stop 1.2820

I wouldn't place a trade till we have clear direction.
When it does move with intend, there will be easy pips.
It is stuck in a Consolidation gathering energy for a big move soon.

Watch London open 1 hour in to get a sense of direction. Then wait to see if New York agrees.

The pair is still trading sideways, continue showing no clear directional strength.

Considering how bullish the dollar is its not such a bad trade with little risk if your stop is at 1.2790

i see a 123 pattern building up for sell.

Liquidated most of my short positions between 1.2780s - 1.2810s.

Leaving a small position to run.

Will re-enter a few small short positions at 1.2800s area, if price get back to that area.

Still very bearish on USD/CAD.

Changed to short at 1.2795.

Short positions activated at 1.2795.

Profit target 1: 1.2740s - 1.2750 -> I expect a small pullback to the top side from this level

Profit target 2: 1.2716 - 1.2725 -> Very strong, short term support level here. Liquidate most of the short positions here. I anticipate a fairly big pullback here, maybe 30 to 40 pips retracement to the top side. (edited 1.2715 to 1.2725)

Profit Target 3: 1.2705 - 1.2715

And leave a small position to run, as the overall bearish run has not ended yet.

Looks like it will get back to retest the 1.2790s - 1.2800 level again.

Took 30+ pips safe profit at 1.2760 level for most of my positions.

True, at moment the pair is still consolidating, only break above the resistance level around 1.2850/60 zone, it might regain some upside momentum.
