I know some of you guys don’t use eurusd only thread so I post in here too here’s what I’m looking at on daily a move long too around 1.238 from there short down to around 1.17 as a move down to wave 3.

As it follows from the latest data of the CFTC, in the week before February 27, speculators quite actively sold the dollar, resulting in a net short position on it increased by $ 2.9 billion to $ 13.7 billion. However, a noticeable change in positioning was observed only in G3 currencies: speculators bought the euro , pound and yen. The euro remains the most bought currency, the yen is the most sold, and positioning in all other major currencies is close to neutral.

The net position in the Canadian dollar remained almost unchanged, but for the first time in a few weeks there was an increase in open interest: speculators opened new long and short positions.

The most large-scale change in positioning occurred in euros, where net long increased by $ 1.7 bln against the backdrop of the opening of long positions.
For the first time since the end of January, the volume of the net long position for the pound has increased, but a larger picture shows the desire of speculators to reduce the risk, as all changes in the positioning of the British currency occur against a background of reduced open interest.

Reduction of the net short by the yen is gaining momentum amid the massive elimination of short positions by speculators. By historical standards, it remains high, so the position of the bears still look vulnerable

The week starts with a small gap up, the gap is not yet recovered.

The USD Index has recaptured 90.000+ status (just) after last week’s roller coaster ride when the index almost recovered to 91.000 before recoiling on US President Trump’s plans to slap import tariffs on steel and aluminium that sparked another wave of global trade war and protectionism jitters.

However, the latest USD revival is largely due to the Euro’s demise and weakness in wake of no clear result at the weekend Italian general election.

EUR/USD is trying to keep hold of the 1.2300 handle, but has been down to 1.2270.

EUR/USD: 1.2200 (1.0 BLN), 1.2300 (0.520 BLN), 1.2400 (0.640 BLN) and 1.2500 (0.835 BLN).

Still holding my 1/3 position short open toward 1.2115.

Daily
Downward sloping channel for bear trend.
Fib expansion to predict wave 3 (will update this once wave two has clearly formed by a swing high)
Stochastic still pointing up so still expecting upwards move to the trendline drawn in blue.
Hopefully looking to see consolidation around here before big move to wave 3 (weekly stochastic are also currently pointing down also)
Targets will be
127%=1.188
141%=1.183
161%=1.174

From there correction wave 4 too around 1.200 level which would be 38.2% correction of wave 3
