I had moved my SL to BE and forgot to reduce my ambitious TP, now I'm watching these pips pass me by! Whilst I only got a measly 4 pips

the higher the vix the higher the volatility. there is a particular number they use to indicate extreme volatility, i see it as the higher the vix the more movement we get

we have been mostly up this week, thus far, some sellers showing up against 1.08 today, I'm still considering trying shorts up that way

USD/JPY retreated from the weekly high at 107.90 where the bulls faced strong resistance. The pair resumed the bearish trend and now is aiming 107.30.

i think there will be further downside in stocks today since the market may anticipate further rate hikes

this might cause USD/JPY to sell off again

my sell limit was at 108 but the price didn't get that far, nealpek is probably stopped out lol

We all trade differently, I appreciate your input and Nealpek's as well. I just think 107.60 is an area Nealpek would find interesting, but maybe not. If so, it was a great area to short from with multiple R available.

if the FOMC minutes will be hawkish today, then this pair will probably tumble with stocks

107.3 is offering some support for now but that can change quickly

Yep, looks like 107.30 has a lot of recent history. If I were a betting man, I would bet that price oscillates around 107.30 until after FOMC is released.

I've learned to stay away from FOMC until after the dust settles. Always opportunity to trade!!

But a week ago UJ broke out of a range it was in for practically a full year.

None too volatile back then.
