EUR/USD reclaims 1.2400+ status and the US Dollar Index continues to struggle on recoveries above 89.6000 near term resistance (within an 89.720-370 range).

Option expiries of note for today's 15:00am GMT
EUR/USD: 1.2400 (466M), 1.2500 (175M).

Well I got my close below the 10-day moving average , and today I would like to see a retest at the the moving average before another leg down. And why? To trap more bulls in, thus pushing the currency pair further and consistently down.

My first target is @ 1.2287 .

As it turned out, the price broke through the resistance at 1.2435 and continued to move down. I predicted short-term growth, but the initial trade was not successful. I had to reduce the volume to reduce the risk of trading and on the second trade I made 26.3 pips on short.
Now I would buy with SL under 1.23330 and TP 1.24850. Despite the fact that the price returned to the trend, it can continue fluctuations between 1.23330 and 1.25145

Could you tell us why you would buy? Any specific setup?

Weekly and monthly wants lower. It is bouncing against support level of the previous range. A break here will give us 1.228x.
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.

perfect reaction low, ok for 1.2460 / top or classic bull set up to run but no gambling around as much better sr should be 2230/2163 etc.no clean cut decision yet .both ways can success in scalping though> should take 2/3 months for clean direction/ correction! take care , fontu

EUR/USD sold off to although is recovering from the 20-day moving average at 1.2325. Intraday Elliott wave counts stay negative and suggest that rallies will struggle 1.2410 for another leg down. The market recently failed at long-term Fibonacci resistance at 1.2538 and the weekly and daily divergence on the RSI show signs that the market has topped. The slide below 1.2300 handle should be enough to trigger a sell off to 2017 high at 1.2115.

So I'm keeping my bearish guns.

Is support 1.2335 going to pass and the price will return to the trend? This would be an excellent achievement for the dollar with a probability to stand at around 1.2170. Do not overlook the possibility of Eur/Usd growth. Again, the vacancy to reach 1.25145 remains open. The news background is relatively calm today, so I think that today the level of support will not be breached.

Finally!! Been waiting for this drop for the last two weeks. Short closed at 1.2250. Now long at 1.2250 targeting 1.2360 area. Will look to re-short at this area.

Eur/Usd is behind GBP, which went up after the news. In addition, Eur/Usd is now below the trend. I would buy Eur/Usd with TP under resistance 1.23800 and SL under the trend line 1.21850.

So it broke much lower than 1.228x and now we are experiencing some support along 1.2226 where it was a previous tight consolidation area. Weekly still looking lower, will let us see 1.218x.

Further lows would bring 1.211x, which would likely turn my view neutral.
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.
