✍The Commitments of Traders (COT) Reports ― Week #5
☛ The report breaks down each Tuesday’s (Wednesday, GMT+8) Open Interest and gives us a powerful view on what exactly the big guys have been doing in the marketplace and what their plans might be. It is issued every Friday (Saturday, GMT+8) and includes data from Tuesday to Tuesday. The three days prior to the release date are not included.
☛ This is an essential tool for gauging long or short term sentiment in Futures or Forex market. It is highly advisable not to use COT reports alone when it comes to your trading decision. This report is not designed as a market entry tool, as the market can be short term bullish in a long term downtrend. Although, it can be used to confirm mid/long term fundamental bias in a given market.
☛ For technical analysis or you as a technician, watch for vital inflection points, and/or as an analyst that monitor headline risk as they relate to geopolitical situations and macroeconomic commentary.
☛ Always keep in mind that inter-market relationships govern currency price action. Therefore, you may need additional work in order to understand the COT reports.
☛ Additionally, there are corresponding correlation besides the symbol or instrument name. In correlation, there is also positive & negative between pairs or crosses. This can turn to “normal” at any time, making though a pair to fall and the other to fall slower or to go sideways. There is also the possibility for a pair to rally in order to “reach” the other pair.
☢ COT reports - Futures data offer a proxy for volume, but represent only a small fraction of the currency market.

Not sure how your TMS indies would couple up to an EW approach? Again, i think entries will be delayed.

Remember from previous; when the 3rd wave is extended, look for the 4th wave to retrace 23.6% of the 3rd. Now we need Divergence to form.
The bigger picture shows the first set reacting at the 38.2% retracement level, so we take those fibs and extend them from the start of the next set. These are all clues as to what to expect next;
Knowing how to read fibs correctly, can set you on your way. If you expect a move already and your TMS signal confirms it, it would be nice to have that extra confidence, would it not?

I think i mentioned this one before on here.
Look for Regular Divergence to occur between waves 3 & 5 ends.
Here is the NQ chart (but it could easily be your favourite FX chart);
Take your fibs for waves 0-3, extend them off of end of wave 4. Here wave 5 is exactly 38.2% of waves 0-3, to the pip and PD forms between wave 3&5 ends.
