I was thinking a long scalp might be acceptable but I then I thought, no, I can't do that, and bam.
big money makes big moves and then hides during small money chasing.

The most relevant info on your screens is what is happening now, not what someone says will happen tomorrow! What a joke!! No analyst can call tomorrow's action, ever. If they do , it's pure luck. The only thing that can tell you where price is going is price. Seems kind of logical.....

A quick look at the Daily shows 110.23 as last major S/R. Obviously predicting dates is impossible. However price action and previous price action can suggest reasonable probabilities. (again not for dates, but for price)

Edit to add: Still short biased as one price spike does not negate a long term trend.

above 109.8 indicates that the bearish trend is probably over for now, i can't say where the pair will go but i think the next target is 110.2 followed by a move to 112.2

it's risky to be both long or short right now because the direction is not clear

To be perfectly honest, with no disrespect, can you make such a prediction with the info as presented? What I see is price could go up, could go down, no bias either way. I'll trade the market with the clues it provides me as we go into the future. Your guess is as good as mine!!! lol Trade what price is doing, not your assumptions or beliefs. My beliefs don't move or influence the market in any way, ever!!!

Final point about trends. Am I in a trend now? How do you know? What trend should I be in, up or down? What is the trend? What was the trend? What is price doing now? Am I in the trend or countertrend?
Get the point? I don't trade trend, I trade what price is doing. Make money on the way up, and the way down. Why the hell not? With only trend thinking, I never would have caught the last 100 pip move up to the 50 handle because the "trend" was down according to popular belief. In my opinion, there are only 2 requirements for trading. Price and the structure it creates and leaves behind, which can then be exploited for profit. That's what I use to buy and sell the market.
