im here because im bored out of my brain ive been trading for a long time and when i was loseing the challenge seemed so exciting that days would go past without me realizing ,i started a small account and with good mm i built it to a size that i was going to start giving me a reasonable return for the time invested i was with fxcm and one day they told me that my government had passed legislation banning them from having us as clients so they sold us to halifax stealing 5 k from my account in the process ,back to account building ,halifax were useing the fxcm as platform providers and when they were banned from providing their service to the US clients halifax sent an urgent email telling us to close all trades imediatly as they were withdrawing all funds from fxcm accounts and then providing a platform of their own for us ,bang there went another 1k so im back to where i started but with a good system that is long term but works and is boring as shit .am i rich NO have i made money YES am i profitable NO have i blowen an account NO do i think i can be profitable YES as long as i can find a good honest provider has trading lost its challenge YES even with our mate mr trump at the wheel will i give up NO can i make a living at it YES it is possible but do i want to do something as boring as this YES but im moveing somewhere else so i can watch ice melt or catch fish or something a little bit more stimulating than tradeing do i have to prove what ive written NO thats just about as challenging as tradeing.

the benefits will be that we can get it depends on its own is not the maximum science, as a business we can do it in a consistent profit should mampunyai experience even further and also the ability of more highly trained skill

Sir gabanda , I agree at your point but not totally. So many experience traders always suggest us to acquire good trading knowledge by learning to keep survive in Forex in a proper way. But according to me , only trading skill is not good enough to make profit consistency devoid of ensuring exact trading discipline and money managing plan. so we have to focus on these trading habits.

What's seems illogical about these arguments is that people like yourself and Mingary claim no one, NO ONE ON PLANET EARTH makes consistent profits from forex, or at least not enough to live on (which does not necessarily require profits month after month). You have not a shred of proof to back up this 100% loser claim, yet you swear it is true.
the closest evidence you produce are apparent official broker stats that say the vast majority lose money. I would be interested in viewing a link to this 99.6 percent loser rate for periods longer than 12 months.
The argument that others such as the owners of FF have worked out it is easier to make profits from forex through advertising on their sites and brokers through commissions etc is also not proof of impossible profits. They have simply found an easier way of making money from forex, since trading is in fact hard.

In fact, as far as statistics go, it's highly "unlikely" that NO ONE on planet earth is a consistently profitable trader. A bell curve demonstrating the statistical distribution of profitable and non profitable traders, (taking into account what would be a large global sample size), is unlikely to have a 0 value at the long term profitability end.
That's just statistics...

What's just as illogical, is when someone does not agree with your argument, you point the finger at them as if they claimed to be a consistently profitable trader, when in fact, they did no such thing.

Quarterly stats seem to range between low 20s to high 40 percent as profitable, with larger accounts occupying the higher end of the profitability rate. Now these are not longer term rates but I will would be interested in seeing a link to verified rates for periods longer than 12 months.

I consistency make money in retail forex, but not month after month. Some months I suck and lose, most other months I suck not as bad and make some money. Not Ferrari and mansions money. But Nissan and 5 bedroom 2 bath money. Thinking of downsizing soon, kids have moved out.

Stats conveniently provided by the brokers hiding the most essential issue.

Check it yourself.
Total customer fund at the beginning of period minus ending total customer fund at the end of the period.

On average, LOSS by the amount of the total transaction cost for the period.

It's a casino....

Understandably, the industry is always looking for a new crop of cannon fodder ...

2 things:
1) How do I check total customer funds at beginning and end of period? Perhaps a link would be helpful.
2) Number 1) refers to group data only, in the same way that medical data shows groups of regular smokers are more likely to die if lung cancer than non smokers.
Yet some smokers "miraculously" cheat cancer affliction.
How is this so...?
Still waiting for hard data that not a single individual can make a living in retail forex.

In any given period it's obvious that a few traders can be profitable.
True for gambling data (casinos), true for forex.

The last time I looked I found the raw data on the fxcm website. As a public company they provide financial statements that you have to analyze to find the relevant info.

I do not think there is any statistics that say this exactly. And most consistent profitable traders are not willing to announce that I am making money here. They love to remain silent. And why would one disclose his or her personal information. The fact is most traders are not consistent. To be consistently profitable you need to be extremely disciplined. This is where most people fail.

Exactly and long term, the macro stats of Forex are almost identical to Gambling (Casinos, Roulette, etc) and very similar to Sports Betting.

Something really crazy is that the EDGE of Casino Gambling Games is almost identical to the EDGE in FOREX.

FOREX = Gambling.

Ironically, Huge Known European Football Teams use as main sponsor in their Shirts, either a Forex Sponsor, a Casino or Poker Sponsor or a sports betting sponsor. It's all connected. People just need to open their eyes and use their brain. Imagine the amount of money these shemes are able to spend to sponsor those teams.

I like Football (Known as Soccer in USA), so I follow that sport, but probably they sponsor other sports too.

Because, they started their trading journey within a proper trading skill; without a good trading skill trading is really impossible since it’s a knowledge based profession.
