JMtini, Do you mind sharing your currency meter? It looks a little different than ones I've seen. And about it, is there any reliability with it on higher time frames? Mike

Hi mikeh

Of course. It's attached. Well I think it works the same on all time frames or at least it gives the same reading on all time frames.

You can also use "csdash" which I believe is really good: https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...0#post10623930
- but it requires one to set up a separate chart.

You mean "csDash"? It's a currency strength meter but it uses more parameters to arrive at a reading (I think). Your best bet is to read through the whole thread because the indi has been updated a number of times.

Euro and GBP seem quite strong today

Anyone in GBPUSD? Looks good for a rise up to 1.400 if it clears 1.3600

EURNZD looks particularly good as well

Gold (XAUUSD) is very bullish indeed - I see it up to 1330 at least

Im still on aud/chf, in about +25, was a big retracement back, but I think its because of holidays, now london session pushing again it back to its place.

Also eur.cad and eur.aud signals which we talked about previously, are going to right direction also.

btw JMTINI, forex power indi. The higher the number, the stronger the currency are? Am I right ?

Hi netas

Yes that's right. Over 7 and flashing green, the currency is very strong. Under 2 and flashing red is the opposite.

EURAUD be a little wary as it's reached a significant resistance area. However I see it breaking through because I see Euro very strong this week (maybe wrong of course!)

EURCAD Looks good for 200 -300 pips

One question keeps me anxious, maybe someone has the answer to it.
What is the logic behind this strategy ?

Just everyone knows, that behind every strategy there must be logic why it works, if it's consistent, then of course it has something behind, but every trader must know why that trade can work, you feel more confident.

Sorry about your AUDCHF trade netas, but to answer your question I think it's really the old story. Look for places to buy in an uptrend and sell in a downtrend.
Identify trading pairs that are in clear uptrend/downtrend and look for a good place to join the trend. Clearly the AUDCHF pair is in an uptrend so one would looking for significant area to buy.

Yes I know - it sounds easy but not so easy in practice! That's why I prefer to take it day by day but that of course is not the BK8 strategy

Well guys the position has completely turned around today. What a difference a day makes in the the forex market! The only pair that has kept it's shape to any degree is XAUUSD which due to fundamental reasons will IMHO keep going up.

As far as GBPUSD is concerned it did hit resistance at 1.3600 as expected but I suspect it's just a liquidty hunt and we'll get buying interest again around 1.34/1.3450 it's going up to 1.4000 and beyond - that's definite IMHO

I wouldn't look to buy now - might go down a bit more yet
