however, some food for thoughts:
looking to double ( the faster the better?) 100$ account, it isnt trading, and if that is about all you got, maybe the demo option is the better one.
frankly, you mentioned 5th world...
lets just assume that making about 2$ a day!! ( read correctly, yes!) in about 2.5 months time you are guaranteed to make that 100$.
and that is probably that even there, in the 5th world, someone with computer literacy and fluent English to post on forum, likely to make 5$ a day, or more...ie. 100$ a month!
fair and square.

so, what is the point?
the point is, that trading, especially if looking to double your account, and not just let a tiny position on a daily or weekly chart to try to pick some tiny swap charges, takes time.
i am sure you are familiar with the cost of opportunity. if not, it worth to look up some definitions.
also considering the chance of loss, and with such a small capital trading under pressure to try to double for a 'few good meals' may be far from ideal.

most of the public account on the 2017 top100 list made big %age returns, because they gambled with small capital. if it was out of a game, or out of desperation, made no difference.
stone me, but i have and had agree with what Whikka was writing, bellow 1k or better 5k, it is about gambling. and as such, there is at onset a tiny chance to complete the objective.
trading is about taking risk, in an orderly fashion, and staying on the sideline when the odds arent in favor of trading.
having 100$, some mentioned even less, is what i consider unfavorable odds.

PS.
i am not rich. worked hard to go full time. worked some jobs to save up a 5 digit starting capital that i wouldnt dare to blow up all at once. because i may not have enough power to start from ground zero. wish for a laser focus, but as a human, i make mistakes. like last month. but then stand up. like last month.

made the first 0.1% of the new year. it isnt much, but can pay the meals for a few days.

Sorry friend but if I put my money where my mouth is, there will be no money at all because i dont brag/show off about my trading skills and millions dollars accounts.

All I'm trying to say is that there should be some kind of equality in this challenge. I know $100 might be a month salary for some, here in my country it is around $500. The thing is how much value does that have for you? 1 month salary is not that much, for any one. 1 year salary, now we are talking. So what ever number that represents, I suggest that should be the minimum balance. Be it 1k, 3k or 5k, let's discuss it.
Why I suggest this? Because this thread will be full of fun-traders that throw $100 here and there to try their luck.
And if you are looking for 1 full year of trading cosistency, it means you are taking trading seriously, so let's match that intention with $$.

The main goal of this thread is to challenge the BS traders that talk all day over this forum about their $$ and trading skills. I think they will not have that much problem putting up 5k, right? I mean, they gain that per trade.
The other goal is for normal traders that see in trading a (potential) profession, help them to achieve consistency by comitting to a public TE and sticking to one system for a full year, something that is very hard at the start. This last group that takes trading seriously should not have that much problem putting up 1 year (around) salary, how much is that?

You don't pretend to graduate from university with $100.

NO. The account size does not matter. It is the percentage made & account survival that counts

Why has a duplicate of this thread not been posted on the commercial forum...???? They have no way of participating & yet they are the main ones this thread is pointing the finger at.

It's all good guys. Everything in the forex is scalable. An over leveraged million dollar account can be blown just a quick as a ten dollar account. I think a requirement that all the accounts are the same size would kill this thread quick. Percentage is the only way.

Also while I'm thinking about it, I will be periodically adding funds to my account during this challenge. I am diverting income to build my meager capital this year. This will change the percentages as it happens, but the TE doesn't forget losses lol. It's not possible to conceal losses by adding funds so I figure it's alright. If you all see it another way, let's discuss it.

The problem with the standard TE is the less funds/units available. Cent is King. I am trading standard accounts anyway...

Exactly. Since last year I am in a communication with FF about the two mt4 servers that need to be listed in their servers list... Be a little more patient.

Meanwhile, here is the account I want to trade, but if FF refuses to add the mt4 server, will pull out a regular one with ICMarkets or ADS Securities...

P.S. you can see, the account already has 100% risk of ruin...
