Transfering the skills of day trading

Im just woundering how easy to the skills developed day trading forex transfer to

1. Day trading other things like stocks, comodities

and what are all the different types of day trading?

2. Other types of investing

We must first define exactly what skills are developed by a day trader. Is patience a skill or a characteristic? Chart reading, a skill or an art?
I don't have the experience in other trading markets to answer your question. I do know that I have learned more about myself trading than anything else I have ever done so I would say, Yes, what you learn trading FOREX would be applied to other markets, once you get that markets nuances figured out.
