Yes nice one. I didn't take this trade because of strong support around 112.0000. I only trade small lots so it was not worth the risk for me for a few pips.

I am up 1100 pips in four weeks, so there is no need to trade large lot sizes to be able to trade for a living provided the size is medium.
Indicators for me a only add a level of confidence that allows me to stay in a trade longer and gather many green pips.
However I don’t trade for a living so I don’t have the pressure you must have when your mortgage is due.
The question is could I trade as freely if my home depended on it, we may find out soon.
But I would like to add I now also include your limited Buy or sells at levels of supply strategy into my King Box strategy. I trade with multiple entry’s so a limited trade back at a supply level offers a great plan B trade if the move fails.

This is great info Emmanuel. I understand everything but the "master candle". What is it and can you explain what it means and how to identify this type of candle? I see that it is a candle that is extremely larger than those surrounding it, but what other criteria is used to identify it?

Is this open above master BUOVB candle


Edit: I'm understanding more what a master candle is so this answer is not correct. It becomes a master candle through another outside bar being formed within a proceeding outside bar. That proceeding bar then becomes a master candle.

GBPUSD - Trading with Intent

Why we are talking about Price Action, it is easily if we can see the structure of both consolidation and directional movement at the same time.

We actually can see this structure if we think about price action in groups of Bars or Candles that have an intent to rest or an intent to move.

Here on the GBPUSD, we can see price leapfrogging from one congestion area ( intent to rest ) and move ( intent to move ) to the next monthly line.
Then again it forms congestion around this monthly Line.
So I waited for the next leap away from the congestion area ( intent to move ) from within the Kings Box and took the trade.

Forming a Kings Box around congestion areas that rest around monthly resistance lines allows us to see structure.

THEY ALLOW US TO SEE INTENT

We don't need to get too excited if we see a bullish Engulfing candle on a chart. We need to know where it fits into the structure of the chart.
In other words, don't trade on a single Candle unless it is consistent in being part of a directional move at the correct time that's required for this action to succeed.

TRADE THE CANDLE ONLY WHEN INTEND FOR MOVEMENT IS NEEDED

Oh, by the way, there was a good TDI Cross for confirmation

good point that's accumulation and distibution rick once price took out high(which was top of you box) I would trade the pullback unless it didn't pullback far enough I would take the hook today in my trading all I took were hooks with a strong move up

The Hook is a great signal to get out quick but it may not tell the full story.

WHY HAS THE TDI HOOKED UP - WHY NOW

Without telling you something you already know, I put a chart up to explain why I believe the TDI hooked up in case it may be of interest to others.

So for me I would have closed trade on hook and now NO new trade at present till price action leaves the Kings Box.

Price Action & TDI are like a marriage of convenience.
