Yeap, that's exactly what it means. When I make enough money from trading, I promise I am going to buy some clothes and put them on before starting trading.

{quote} PA comes first, then the TDI = Disagree to disagree and leave it at that. ------------ Price has only two point's: X, Y X = time (date, hour, min, sec, msec) Y = value ( the monetary value of a county's currency at that time ea price) ditto price will be a line. Have google many webpage with "trading naked" or "indicator free chart's". Almost all use candle bar as the main chart. As posted before price does not have HH, HL, LH, HH or pin bar or pattern or this or that. Candle chart is therefor an indicator which indicate where price has been...

'To my surprise', there is no Japanese candle indicator in the indicator folder on MT4, and probably not on any other trading platform. How can that be, if the candles are indicators, as you say? That's so strange, isn't it?

Thanks to the Japanese people, I do not have to monitor a chart 24 hours a day to know where price has been in the last 24 hours, so I can know the high and the low of that candle. I can do my other stuff, and then the 'candle indicator' shows me the maximum and minimum points, and also the open and the close. I might be wrong, I am not all-knowing, but the way I see it, Japanese candles and price bars are not indicators. Indicators and oscilators interpret price based on how they were programmed. Japanese candles and price bars show exactly what the price does/did.

This reminds me of this post from Strat. I know people who make good pips with the aid of indicators and oscilators, even I started improving with the help of TDI. But the fact is they lag, and that is why for me PA comes first. I think this is the last post of mine regarding this subject, because I am clearly not going to change my opinion. This is who I am, stubborn as Hell.

If you had followed my previous posts on "PLAN. BUILD and RUN", this setup is not in the RUN phase. It is in the BUILD phase and therefore has its risks because as you seen, the previous MN Close and High are seen as resistance. When we are in the BUILD phase, I reduce my %risk and trade the ranging condition until there is breakout into the RUN phase.<...>

I prefer to trade the 4hr charts at night. My broker posts new 4 hr candles at 10pm my time (Pacific), 2am my time and 6am my time. My page when I open up my charts has 8 open charts. I just glance at the TDI for set ups when the new candle opens... If I see a set up... green just crossing red I'll take the trade, turn off the puter and go to bed. Four hours later (1:50am) my alarm goes off for the new candles and I take a peek... if I see a new set up I'll enter and go back to bed with the last alarm at 5:50am my time. I close all trades at that...

We all know by now that Big E only trade the H1 and H4. He said in his post llink above:
" If I do any day trading I'll use 1hr charts at news time. Any method and any timeframes are difficult and fast on the 5-15 min charts. That's where most traders get taken to the slaughter and the dealers know it which puts the odds in their favor... I hate to monitor charts anyway. Even if I scalp the market I use 4hr charts with success..."

Even when he scalp, he used the H4. He use the H4 for scalping, I know it is English he wrote. But what did he trade when he is not scalping?
H1 to him is day trading,
What about H4, did he scalp or did he swing trade?
Most of his training charts show that he was swing trading on H4 charts. His belief was each swing last 3 to 8 candles.

What is swing trading? Is this not trend trend trading or maybe I should say it is short term trend trading.

There is a trend in every chart timeframe we see.

Hi Guys, my take on this.

In my eyes, I have a similar idea to Emmanuel from a similar book.
When price action leaves a monthly resistance line, its looking for supply first before a breakout can occur. I am looking for a build phase first within a Kings Box then just outside this area which is contained within the Monthly Wick area. It is seem perfectly on a H4 chart as shown.
I am now building into a position as seen on the H4 chart with my next trade occurring on the H1 chart if cross of TDI occurs. So Build Phase.

On Money Management, it is best to take the H4 Breakout trade along with a Buy Limit Order placed in the area of supply within the Kings Box.
That Buy Limit Order is our plan B in case price is pulled back into the supply zone.

The reason I can build a position here is because there is clear space ahead and price action is moving away from a monthly resistance area.
I define empty space as the distance between monthly resistance lines. I call these zones or rivers.

Take note of the post number. In the following post's BigE was already giving advice about D1

Nothing new about trading the D1 with TDI setup.

In Post 84,858 there are buy order's open on H1 which make D1 chart a bit difficult to read
Attached Image

Have been trying to move from H1 to H4 and D1. The draw down was always the demoralising factor. Now I can test D1 by allowing the top 4 order's go into draw down. Stupid or learning from deliberate mistakes or will D1 pull H1 and H4 back into a uptrend?

Old demo account is used.

Follow only BigE advice, forget what other member's post. (including me).
You want to be a successful trader in using the this method you better start to study and practice on demo or a small micro account with 0.01 lot size

You may ask why do I post mostly only BigE's post. Because every post I submit is one more hour used to study the method used in TMS. After 2 year's it is starting to pay off.

It could be discussed in a TV show for hours days or weeks.I can see that from the posts. His style will be discussed for new decades and therefore he is somehow a phenomental person. I knew him since this thread first post , but wow.

Most probably you have seen the following over the year's in the thread's you call home.
That:
- some member's succeed and leave.
- some member's failed and leave
- some member's took what they needed and leave.
- some member's are learning
- some member's trying their utmost best to destroy the thread from within.

Here is a typical example from with in

fleurdelys is using google translate to learn TMS.
In a post fleurdelys is referred to Dean Malone. In Post 261 BigE advice members not to contact Dean with the reason why not.
Looking at the chart in that post you will notace that:
- Yellow line is on bar 3 after the cross.
- PAC on main chart instead of only 5EMA
- Upper and Lower band not removed from TDI
- HA on top of Bar Candle

Is that how you give advice to a member, let alone one that understand English very poorly?

How about giving the learning group a change to find out for them self if this simple method work's or not.
How about when they do ask for help, give them the right advice.

BigE helped me with his simple way of posting. Yes, I think it is worth fight for.

Well Tekkies, final word says all. USE YOUR BRAIN
I myself on several occasion over all the years back I came an leave I came and leave. I have my own reasons to benefit from what I have seen. The original concept did sure never change, actually it is that simple chart and you have to only add your brain with MM and trade as he has advised to do. Nothing more. It is actually very interesting to see 80000+posts. I love to see this effort and hope that many traders can benefit from the strategy optimum.

Hey Folks,

Trading just resume with some brokers. One of my broker is GAIN Capital and still no price ticks yet... still waiting.

Today's question is:

Which side of your brain do you use more when trading- Left side or Right side?

Hey Folks,

It's year 2018

Time to remove your learning wheels folks. It has been more than 5 years.

If you had spent 2 to 5 hours everyday for the past 5 years, you would have about 6,000 trading hours like Big E.

I 'd removed those training wheels and have achieved consistency.

However, if you can't do that, then give yourself another 12 months until the end of 2018.

With or without the TDI?

Don't get me wrong.
I am not saying that everyone should remove the TDI.
I am saying if you have been actively trading with the TDI for 5 years, you can consider to remove it.
But, if you are a new trader and still learning to trade, then you can continue to use the TDI.

Big E taught us how to trade with the TDI back in 2010. But it is now 2018.

With or without the training wheels, you can be happy so long as you make money CONSISTENTLY.
Like these kids, be happy and have fun.
Guess which kid go faster and have better feel and control.
