You may say so but you have a minor resistance around the 1.20640 area and a major one awaits bulls around the 1.22340 area.

I see your logic.

I always close trades during NFP days but will quickly re-enter if news is favourable to my Bias.
The funny thing is the market knows in advantage ( or does their own figures ) and with the recent sharp rise here, the market has already moved on the NFP information.

You will see in happen time & time again. The weekly trend seems to know whats up before we do.

But the big picture is still the same.
I trade the H4 chart and will enter & exit chart on those bumps and dips. It still won't change my Bias though so will look to trade every H4 dip.

Of course I could be wrong, if I am I will see it will a candle shape pattern and get the hell out quick.

I prefer to stay out of the wind rather than hang on to my hat. Been out in the storm before and prefer to be safe.

If I were to take a position, it would be very small as market can gap past your stop and keep going while your broker is closed up shop foe new year.

I am only trading small this week so I can handle this risk.
I will be looking to add a trade with a size 1.5 times larger if it does gap against me. This will give me a better average price and an opportunity to save my position.
