Anyway people......I will be on holiday from this afternoon onwards, so I wish you all Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year...even the organ grinder and his monkey.

As my holiday is REAL, I'll be unable to post, which of course is good for the organ grinder.....but honesty IS a very expensive gift....you won't find it in cheap people.

Hey Folks,

If go to my profile, you will see that I started trading TMS H1 and H4 in X-man's thread, then moved on to LE1 thread and traded M15.
I came to this thread in 2012 and it is now 5 long years.
In both X-Man and LE1 thread, you will learn a lot about Price Action trading which is also TMS.

I stopped trading short term - the M15 and H1 and focus trading the 4H swing and Position trading on D1 chart timeframes.

But many of you have day jobs, and Big E advice is not to be afraid to trade the D1 chart.

Some of us started to trade D1 charts this year following Big E's post.

Next year should be another year for us to test trading the D1 charts and work on money management strategies for this.

What you can do during this holiday period is to do back-testing on those 8 pairs which Big E traded - AJ, EU, GU, UCad, AJ, UJ, EJ and GJ, and count how many TDI crosses on the D1 chart. Do this for the past 5 years data.

Let compare our back-tests results next week.

Hello guys, i have just re-subscribed to this thread after understanding it's potential and started to read it seriously. I have only two questions, and then i promise i'll not "get dirty" the thread with tipical newbies/newsubscribers questions. So... i'd like to understand what is the difference between basic tdi (the one who you can download from the first page i think) and the sinergy pro tdi; and regard the indicators, i'd like to download the latest versions of both tdi's, (especially the sinergy pro) if you could post it here i would be glad.

That is a very old screenshot you copied. It is May 2017 USDJPY trades. There were already several posts by other members here showing that same old screen shot of my TE CI500 trade plan in May. Those who followed that TE CI500 knew what that trade plan was about.

Before I lose that 1529 pips, I first had to work to earn that 1728 pips. Giving back what the market gave me is very easy thing to do. But earning that 1728 pips in 2 months was very hard work. I am sure you have your own trading experience to share with the people in this thread other than taking cheap shots at me.

Anyway, I have my another TE which I posted end of last week. I am forward testing with one live kedge account how we can trade TMS on M15/M5 using an expert advisor EA and we only need to trade once a week. The EA will do the trades for us after we have done our top down analysis and have a trade plan.
So far the live forward tests look good for the past 6 months. That initial account deposit $5,000 grew to now $15,000.

I will post again the update of this TE when I close this weekend after Friday Dec 29 closing. Don't expect many trades the next 3 trading days as market liquidity is expected to be very thin.

snarlyjack is one of the pioneer members when Big E started his trading threads here in FF.

Been trading for 17 year's and never been down 1500 ticks 33% all I see is you just kept adding and adding to a losing position. That speaks volumes about how someone approaches trading. I just browse from time to time not to learn new methods just to see the process of people learning and thinking they got it to find out 2 months later they don't. If you got it do these folks a favor open your own thread and this soap opera will end that would be a gift to all M C

You are right. Lesson learned with that CI500 trade plan. That was a live forward test for another member here who asked me early this year.
Those trades went into deep drawdown and I had to cut those losses. I would not hold DD like some traders can hold to trades in DD for weeks and even months.
That approach did not work out but what the heck, that was only $100 loss and that account deposit was still intact that May month end.
I did not lose my shirt.

About my NEW THREAD , it is not here in Forex Factory. My main focus is to work with a group of active traders and together we help other traders develop their own trading systems using TMS 5-Method as their core trading methodology. We agreed not to use FF because FF does not allow members to form private groups what other forum allow Closed Users Group.
