held a short overnight!..i had enough margin to carry on small positions so why not..
target was 6370..should hit tonite...
then maybe long to break new highs??!?

tried something a bit new ...
index hedge...
long and short NQ and ES. have to take into account respective volatility and contract specs..
add to winner..cut the loser down..
right now the short NQ is a loser..so will cut it down and add into ES...see what happens

thought i was done for the year..but seeing that the globex hours pushed the market higher, i wanted to get a quick action at the open
plus it's first day of bitcoin futures trading...you gotta be doing something in the market this special day
just went with small 2 lots, not sure how futures react around this time..
+$500 in <5 minutes...go figure..

How many contracts you trade per day on average? Amp has their year end offer with 1k/2k prepaid comms which might be of benefit to you vs the flat-rate commission scheme. 3.08(1k) / 2.88(2k) vs 3.58 es, nq & rty. You need of course more than 2k/4k contracts/year to benefit.
now i'm doing smaller contract after observing profitfarmer and cubby..small positions gives you some leeway into a position. there are days where i say "what the hell, i should've have gone in full position and be done with it..
but i'm open minded.lets give this a try and see..

bought some XRP (around .70usd) couple days back, cause i like the story behind it.
i thought i would have the chance to average in $500 at a time at lower prices. now that everybody's in on the cryptos, prices should've dip a bit..
today this bastard took off...
i'll wait for next week i guess to buy some more..
