Another very belated entry in this thread.
Agree that MM basically comes down to position sizing with the entries and stops and, to that end, I offer this thimble of thought:

Nosing around this morning to knock up my own position sizing for spot Gold, and couldn't find what I wanted so I made this sheet up. I don't trade with Mt4, but cTrader, so EAs are useless (in one sense). Can't be bothered switching to websites to calculate size as the distance changes---I trade the 5 min charts, so I needed something written down basically!
Worked that out, transferred it to a table in xls and then designed one using DDE feed from MT4 so that I would have a current position size based on live feed into the spreadsheet. You will notice that their are decimal oz gold in the table which, of course, you can round either down or up.
Others can adjust it to their own beast of choice, but comments and feedback welcome.
Edits: Added current rate of exchange from MT4 to update the value of the pip to arrive at a converted AUD%R to USD %R and adjusted position size in the table accordingly.

Although mathematicians might take issue with the exact numbers in the table, i did it by rough rule of thumb--200-pip stop position size should be half the 100-pip stop position size and again the 300-pip stop position size should be half that of the 200. I just averaged the ones in between them.

Hi! This post is quite old, but I found it very useful. However, does anyone have a recommendation for something similar to this but with multiple targets?

Hobby dabblers and entities too lazy or incapable of learning to create a formulated spread sheet will not benefit from this post. No time for questions - go figure - construct - innovate.

As a member of a family consortium - agreement between father and sons - we collectively hold a number of accounts.

As far as ESMA is concerned and remaining UK or Offshore based, of necessity we will be batting for both sides. It is what it is - pros and cons - cold unemotional logic dictates adapt, strategies and move on.

For accounts requiring FSCS protection we do not find 1:30 draconian and negative balance protection is further incentive not to move funds offshore.

For one or two accounts not requiring FSCS protection and 1:30 restrictive AU & NZ brokers listing liquidity sources are preferred selections.
