Nice. Can see why you placed the trade
- Green rebound
- Angle between 1 and 2
- Just below 50 line - lots of space to move up
- Above support level, went up to resistance
- Short red candle before the cross over
- Short wick's on that candle
Pity it is on M15 and not H1 or H4.

Take a look at this long term chart... Green has barely crossed the red line so a trade could be taken... but use common sense... I'd rather see where the green line is going to go on the next candle before entering.... {image}

Read Big E's post 1726 above and that chart he attached.

Pay attention to what he wrote and what you see on that chart.

same chart below,
its a Weekly chart and that TDI Red Green which he used.

Pay attention to details and what did you notice?

{quote} {quote} Hi Karado, Sorry that I missed this one and did not follow up. Thanks to Zef, vayzardos and LastSUMARAI for their input which are very good. Now back to that post where I asked Phx62 and he already replied that post. But for the benefit to all interested members following my posts here and to answer Karado58 post, here is my response. The same chart posted and now I wrote my comments on those two setups which did not run well. Some of you who read my posts on wide range bar have learned some basics of reading price action and applied...

What is a WRB?
We keep that simple as TMS 5-Method is a simple trading method but it is not an easy trading method as some member believe. Trading requires different set of skills and TMS 5-Method is no different. You need to have different skills to be a proficient TMS trader.
A WRB is a price bar which has a wide range its high-low range must be the highest when compared to the past 3 to 5 bars. Not all WRBs will result in market consolidation for example when there is a breakout, a WRB can follow with another WRB. But WRB which occur at Support and Resistance are high probability of a market consolidation to follow.
Master Candle this type of price bar pattern has been around since the creation of Japanese candlestick charting. The Master Candle pattern is based on a 6-candles, i.e. the first candle must engulfed the next 5 candles for the first candle to be the Master Candle.
But when we trade TMS, we use the Master Candle which engulfs the next 3 consecutive candles. For short name, lets just name this MC[3].
Why do we define MC[3]?
This is because this type of MC[3] occurs most frequently in all chart TFs and it is the earliest confirm pattern before a MC[4] and a MC[5].
Many WRBs also become MC[3]. Hence WRBs are early warning because it is the first candle to appear before it is confirmed as a MC.
But not all MCs are WRBs.
===
Hello Emma,

I like this post regarding the definition of Master Candle and Wide Range Bar which help us to determine wide/narrow range market consolidation. I think it's great to remind all of us including me when we do BBP

However, would you kindly define Weekly Control Candle (WCC) for us? Because I'm not quite sure the difference between WCC and Weekly WRB

Thanks

Steven

BigE post#495 - Starting out you should be 60-65% successful. Within 1 to two months you should be 70-80% successful..
If... you follow the simple rules and simple exits... 3-6 months... 85% successful. Don't complicate it... keep it simple. Buy your wheel barrow.

a Well used tactic is where the word simple is switched with easy. Trading is simple. The price can only go two directions UP or DOWN. Trading was and never will be easy for you never know what price is going to do next.

Two different chart, two different trades, two different traders. Both used the rules. (Copy and paste)
Your safest trades will always be when green crosses red and you enter on candle 1 or 2... odds are in your favour.
Why?
Because I'm expecting 3-8 candles... which is average...
With bounce trades the odds are lower for your success... but it still works.
When wanting to enter a TDI trade... take a moment first to observe basic 4x things... like:
How close am I to the previous high or lo
Am I in an uptrend or downtrend.. short & long term...
Am I in or close to a consolidation area
Are the previous candles small...
Look at the candles on the last reversal... big, little, what
How does the momentum look right now (12-2, 4-6)
Does Stoch's confirm the TDI signal

Before a trade something like this happens in a flash:
- Remember to place a order at the beginning of the bar where the cross has been made. (post#2, 6)
What is green doing?
- Angle of green
- Where is green?
close to level 68 or 32 or just past level 50 (read TDI Cross.pdf)
- Distance between red and green
- far means the trend is strong
- close means == watch for revised or pull back.
What are the candles doing?
- Size of candle (post#701, 772)
- Short candle's mean the trend has lost steam and about to end
Size of wick
- Long wick's show that there is a strong resistance against the current direction the trend is going.
- Short wick seller's and buyers are almost in agreement
What is stoch doing?
-Already in overbought/ oversold(80 /20) then stoch is useless. (post#261,
- Stoch + TDI still in the same direction
Support / Resistance level
- Look left and find those place where the bar's has formed a level and did not cross over that imaginary level.
- Are the bars small and in a narrow band. (Consolidation)
-- are the bar's getting shorter or longer?
5EMA
- what is 5 EMA doing
-- distance between bar open and 5EMA also tell's a story.
-- far = keep going
-- close = watch out
Red new's
Time of the currant session
--- is London starting to trade or lunch time or closeing time
--- Same for New York, Sydney, Tokyo
- Let the profit's run until green goes flat, check mark or hook over.
Attached Image

Koppel87's chart
- Green rebound
- Angle between 1 and 2
- Just below 50 line - lots of space to move up
- Above support level, went up to resistance
- Short red candle before the cross over
- Short wick's on that candle

Then he can keep up the 'great' work in his own thread.....can he not? In his own thread he can do what he likes, but NOT in this thread of eelfranz. Big E's express written wishes for HIS system in HIS thread, should be respected. That's all anyone wants...either respect the wishes of Big E or leave the thread and start your own. What the hell is so difficult about that??

Let me explain.

First of all Emm cant trade TMS. Thats his statement. So maybe walk in a thread where the op is alive, tell i know what you thinking but your system doesnt work you have to change this and that, finally destroying it with all bullshit you craped somwewhere. What will happen? Right. Especially when the op clearly stated what he wants and whats not. You do the opposite.

Second a lot of people, including friends of the died Eric just asking Emm to open his own thread just for the matter of respect. He refuses, worser hes lying for years about it searching excuses in his "promoting group". Alone this point must make you sceptical, right. Would you do this if some friend of a died person simply asking for respect in real life?

2 or 3 years ago i was testing out the original system. One day there was couple of setups which were profitable. At the same time Emm posted that there are no setups today cause he was again doing his ultra big analyzis etc. After me posting a screenshot with the profitable trades, he turned over and said there were some setups for the original system (which the thread is all about) but not for his strange mix up. That was my eyeopening for his bullshit.

His stuff has nothing to do with TMS. Fact. Maybe he helped some experienced traders with the moneymanegement and fancy downloadlinks, but when a newbie comes from Big`s straight method to Emm`s chaos postings he will be confused big time.

Another thing is his heavily promoting of van tharp stuff. When you sign up to his private club you have to sign a contract that you will not talk about it. Strange for a selfless millionaire( ), isnt it? Or his offensive behaviour, which he actually try to hide. Btw. he has damn much to hide.

......

To make it short:

Please tell me, where`s the problem to open a thread on his own? Like its tradition on here? Everything would be nice and cool. Guess you can imagine why this will never happen.

Dont be afraid, i will be away soon enough.

Happy trading.
Newbies be warned of emmanuel7788. Hes not true.

I keep reading post why emmanuel7788 should keep posting on this thread. But I have not seen one reason why he can not open his own thread. Is it so hard to make reference to his past post from this thread? What reason does emmanuel7788 have not to open his own thread. If he really cares about helping others and stop all this bickering and just focus on trading and helping other it would be easy to open your own thread and ban those that do not follow the rules of the thread. Right?

Now explain to me why he can not open his own thread? And don’t tell me that he doesn’t need to because he is so helpful. He can’t be helpful in his own thread. There are most post this past few days on opening a new thread than actual showing TMS trades. So please give me one good reason why emmanuel7788 should not open his own thread.

The same story. Followed emm advice, got burned badly. Disregarded all crap that is posted, really started to study only BigE's post. After many hour's, many loses trading has become simple. There is no need to complicate trading. No need to use fancy candle pattern names like WRB, flip time frame's, Big Picture Planning, placing many orders and call it ME/ME, SE/SE. What for? That is not trading, does it help to place the order at the right time, right place, right direction.

Trade the chart you are on. Get the information from the chart you want to place a trade. Use the OP's rules to find that set up. No set up. Wait for the set up or find a other pair that has the set up.
