Cad has been strong now for 2 days.
Eur/Cad & Cad/Chf
Looks like for Usd/Cad there was a strugle to keep on going south. So there may come a turn.

Hi donkush, some members have mentioned the fact from time to time but we never heard of any convincing result. if the attempt was successful they are chances we will never hear of it, same if it failed.
What could be interesting and a time-saver is a pattern screener which would send an alarm when the criteria are met on a pre-defined selection of instruments.

Yes looks good at the moment. All the best. I was trying this in live market but results are not very promising. I think we need some extra confirmation beside 5 SMA. It could be Higher time frames analysis, an other moving avg or any thing works. My plan is following:
a) Before week begins analyze the weekly candles and PA and pick few pairs with some clear direction.
b) Use primarily Price Action with 5 SMA on Daily and H4 time frames.
c) Also use EMA 10 and 20 as secondary help.

Lots of $$$$ to you guys.

Hi guys, i've been following this thread for awhile but don't seem to be able to use this method successfully.

Do you guys use S/R zones to help you take trades as well? For E.g. Oddbjorg's recent post on Cad/Chf, looks like if one were to take a long, it would be longing into a resistance zone. Any thoughts on this?

Yes, you are right ... cch and ach got resistance, where as uch was obvious going well and gave pips ++
Looking at shorter timeframes f.ex. could have made it clearer. As you can see jmtini explains.

Hi Oddbj,

Thanks for replying to my query. For USDCHF, if you took a long after the big bullish candle around 4 Dec (after it closed, crossing the upwards-sloping SMA), would that have been longing into the recent lower-high? I.e. Longing into a small resistance (Drawn in yellow)?

Yes, and that is why Bk8 reminds us of considering that the size of the wicks have importance, I beleive
It is always good to look at Support and Resistance.

Thanks Oddbj. Not sure if this is right, but looks like there's some difficulty in punching through the resistance zone. Will be watching for some bearish confirmation and perhaps a close below the 5 SMA before taking a short to around 84.5. What do you all think?
