Unlike EURUSD, EURJPY looks very much to the downside 130 level even lower. EURAUD also might turn south. AUD and NZD should strenghten soon.

Hello Scott.

The setup, is placing on watch, the SA Top 40 index for the Santa Clause rally.

What is a 'Santa Claus Rally'
A santa claus rally is a surge in the price of stocks that often occurs in the last week of December through the first two trading days in January. There are numerous explanations for the Santa Claus Rally phenomenon, including tax considerations, happiness around Wall Street, people investing their Christmas bonuses and the fact that the pessimists are usually on vacation this week.

At the moment, the weekly looks like it wants to retrace, and if my rules included shorting an index, I might. But rules of trading an index and staying to trade a week or two longer in the business, NEVER short an index.

So, will watch this for strength from lower down and then go for the bonus.

Looks like it is making a pullback to upside, if it breaks down, it mey go to 1.11. I think GBPUSD sooner or later should cower that huge daily wick.

Similar setup in the KIWI 50 a few weeks ago Jim. Looked tempting as well.

Interesting to see if Iron Ore follows through here or heads lower, and the effect on the Aussie. Personally, I still see the Aussie below 70 in 2018 but looking at the charts a run back to 78 prior seems possible as well.
