Am I correct to say that using this system, one would mostly experience very small wins/losses as the most markets are typically in chopping in consolidation. The reliance for profit being those trades (10-20% of them) finding the extremes of an impulse leg that doesn't correct too soon?

Starting from the fundamentals is the best thing most of the time.
I forgot that the TMS strategy scalp the market. Going to the constant search for big moves can be frustrating.
Reading the posts of Big E and I'm not clear about something. Someone with a good knowledge of the TMS method may be able to answer (I hope).
Big said he closed all his trade after 1 or 2 bar (4 hours bar).
He also said that he closed his trade when the indicator turned flat.
My question is: If at 10 am the TDI was still steep he closed his trade as well?

This has been a very boring week, no volatility. Here my results, on the left, closed trades, on the right, open trades for next week. I think I have made a mistake with EURCAD, and EURJPY, so I won't be surprised if my stops are triggered, next week. {image}

Some times ago i looking for the same thing, and i find this step by step process to create TDI on Mt4 mobile app.
But i don't try it.
"Setup TDI on MT4 Mobile App:
Overview of Steps:
A. Add RSI indicator
B. Add 7-period Moving Average
C. Add 34-period Bollinger Bands
D. Add 50-period 1-shifted Moving Average
E. Add 5 TDI Horizontal Line levels
A. Add RSI indicator:
Enter the Indicator selection window (‘f’) and add the “Relative Strength Index” indicator.
Set the “Period” to 21.
Set “Apply to” to Close.
Select “Levels” and add 20, 30, 50, 70, and 80.
Set the color to Lime.
B. Add 7-period Moving Average:
Enter the Indicator selection window (‘f’) then “Indicator Window 1.”
Set “Period” to 7.
Set “Method” to Exponential.
Set “Apply to” to First Indicator’s Data.
Set the color to Red.
C. Add 34-period Bollinger Bands:
Enter the Indicator selection window (‘f’) and add the “Bollinger Band” indicator.
Set the “Period” to 34.
Set “Apply to” to First Indicator’s Data.
Select “Levels” and add 0, 32, 50, 68, and 100.
Set the color to Dark Blue.
D. Add 50-period 1-shifted Moving Average:
Enter the Indicator selection window (‘f’) then “Indicator Window 1.”
Set “Period” to 50.
Set “Shift” to 1.
Set “Method” to Linear Weighted.
Set the color to Yellow.
E. Add 5 TDI Horizontal Line levels:
On the chart window, expand the indicator sub-window by tapping and holding down on the line between the main window and sub-window.
Add the 80-Horizontal Line by selecting the “Objects” (in the top right of the screen) and tapping the horizontal line tool. Next, tap the indicator sub-window on the charts to place the line.
After placing the line, press and hold it until a window appears…select “Properties.”
Set “Point” to 80.00.
Set “Symbol” to All Symbols.
Set appropriate colors.
Repeat for the previous steps for 70, 50, 30, and 20 levels."

Next year 2018 I will show you how to pick the best pairs to trade every week and you wont suffer that kind of trade loss like your EurCad sell this week.

No he did not.
If he did close all order's how did he trade the big trend's that went beyond 3 bar's?
Use some discretion:
- Close all trade's and have peace (Lose out on some nice extra pips)
- Place a hard stop loss (on broker sever) as close as possible to the open price. (You were going to close the order anyway)
- Slap a trailer stop on the order
- Apply all the rules again before closing the order

What is green doing?
- Angle of green not between 12/2 or 4/6
- Where is green? close to level 68 or 32 or just past level 50
- (read TDI Cross.pdf)
- Distance between red and green
- far means the trend is strong
- close means == watch for revised or pull back.
What are the candles doing?
- Size of candle (post#701, 772)
- Short candle's mean the trend has lost steam and about to end
- Size of wick
- Long wick's show that there is a strong resistance against the current direction the trend is going.
- Support / Resistance level
- What is stoch doing?
---Already in overbought/ oversold(80 /20) then stoch is useless. (post#261,

- Can you see any other trend's in the past that has the same pattern then current trend - might show you what this trend can do.
--- start with a doji
--- two pin bar's
--- same reverse before starting the trend
- Consolidation
-- are the bar's getting shorter or longer?
- what is 5 EMA doing
-- distance between bar open and 5EMA also tell's a story.
-- far = keep going
-- close = watch out
- Red new's
- Time of the currant session
--- is London starting to trade or lunch time or closeing time
--- Same for New York, Sydney, Tokyo
Anyway this is just a few things to look.
