1.193x is what I calculated. I dont think we will see 1.2 for rest of the year. that is locked and loaded and ecb sitting after 1.195x on the short side. having said that I am surprised with this 100 pip move post wednesday. there are lot of uncertainties in the eu still. german elections, spain catalonia, italian bank issues.

i wouldn`t be suprised after break the descending tl. I am totally agree with you uncertainties in eu but there are also uncertainties in usa. Will be 3 interest rate hikes 2018? some doubts about inflation rates. 10y-2y bond spread is decreasing etc.

there are no uncertainties in the usa. market is looking for a reason to sell the dollar which tells you the economic activity is good. market is buying the euro because the market thinks first ecb rate hike is nearer than ever
