This week has not been good for minigan's set up, but I guess we can't expect good results every week.

Tuesday: Closed manually at +100 pips. I saw a pullback forming so closed it manually.
Wednesday: The VB did not trigger.
Thursday: Vb got triggered and then reversed and hit SL.

Total for the week: -100 pips.
Truth is like poetry. And most people f*cking hate poetry.

Opening at 8:10 GMT:

Tuesday: Closed at 262 pips as it went over 300 pips.
Wednesday: Did not get triggered by the VB and went straight to -300 pips
Thursday: Did not get triggered by the VB (21.7 pips) and went straight to -261 pips.

It's really interesting. Today as per your idea, Monthly FT L2 in London Opening is performing good. Is it happened regularly?

@xmess if I want to trade the opposite of the suggestions do I select the option: Reverse all Trades or Indicator Selections?



If I select these options the indicator suggestions are still the same as the "normal" suggestions. Do I just trust that the basket will open the reverse suggestions?

week 45 results

tuesday: +223.6 pips (hit the trailock)
i notice that my 70% trailock might be too tight. my demo showed me it recovered from the dip and reach TP (400 pips) a few hours later.
wednesday: -200.4 pips
thursday: -204.9 pips

loss -183 pips

next week I might incorporate vb +30 like mrdfx.. seems like a good idea. might have a breakeven if i used that..

which version of xmess ea are you using for this vb?
i tried 37.7.6 before but there was a bug and vb counter didnt reset.. that's why i kinda avoid using vb until it is really stable since i am not always in front of my comp.

I closed my basket on tuesday manually at 400 Pips with minigan settings (FF). The basket opens on Monday 7:10 GMT with a 30 Pips VB. I do not open it again.

i guess 8:10 gmt opening time saves you on thursday from that SL.. good thing finding out abt that..

I'm using the latest beta version, 37.8 beta 10. The VB works perfectly for me, no issues at all.

I've found that opening a few mins after market open is better as you miss on some false moves and breakouts that could affect the basket negatively, this is why I always set my baskets to open +10 mins.

With your trail lock set to 70% and you say it's too tight, what would be a better profit lock? I'm not that good with profit lock and I'm actually only using it with your basket.

I am using v37.8 beta 7 and it is working fine as well.

I think 70% at 300 pips makes sense as if you hit trail lock it would mean you made 210 pips profit. If your next trade ends up in SL you would be BE. Having a less tight trail lock doesn't mean it will reach TP every time.

My results mirror yours this week minigan. I think the opening time and VB idea by mrdfx is a good one.
Next week I'll incorporate another test opening at 8:10 with 30 pip VB so we can see the difference side by side

Not sure about the difference but I do know that 'Reverse all trades' makes the EA place a 'buy' when the indicator says 'sell' and vice versa.

I tried a variation consisting of elements from Minigan, Nihilist and MRDFX. I didn't keep a screen shot of the charts, but here are my results from Tuesday-Thursday. I ran the chart Monday too and got 120 pips, but I didn't include it in the total. The virtual setting kept me out of today's losses.

My results so far using culled pairs.
204 pips tues
-198 pips weds
-75 pips Thurs at market close,(have not closed it yet) so following minigans strat id be at -69 pips.

I will now open on Friday as we have yet to see it follow the weekly direction.Lets see what happens.

or shall I leave the Thursday basket running through Friday. Have not decided yet but will keep you updated.

UPDATED:
I have closed out as we need to be able to compare results so silly to do anything else so results are -69 pips.
I can live with that for a loosing week.

so 3 weeks I have 680 pips banked.

My thanks to every individual that has contributed to this thread and to Forexpinbar for putting it all together and sharing his ideas. My very first week’s results with CCFp weekly signals displayed below reflects departure from the idea of holding on to the trades till the end and exiting early, circumstances allowing, with the help of tools such as supply & demand areas, support & resistance levels and Heiken Ashi color changes on H4 charts thus helping in retaining the gains.
