Disliked{quote} best prove are those drawdowns you mentioned, followed by silence and soap storiesIgnored
Disliked{quote} Try reading the post again. What I said was they don't care what they use to make money nothing about drawdown at all with regard to that.Ignored
and
I think most here can figure that out, without living with a 'prop trader' lol
It's obvious they don't care the what, but it seems according to Merlin they do care the how.
Disliked{quote} when all along they are suffering worse drawdown. Surely anyone with half a brain can see the irony?Ignored
Here the trader's whole capital is not allocated only with one broker.
And there are two models: Insurance and Lottery.
In Insurance model there are:
1. Allocated amount of trading capital for trading each currency pair.
2. Technical stop loss.
3. %Risk and Position Sizing.
4. Minimum Take Profit and Profit Lock.
In Lottery model, basically the capital deposited in the account is the stop loss and the take profit is whatever the market will give us.
I think what Emmanuel has been criticizing about Pivot Cheerleader is not the amount of his drawdown
(we know he trades with very small Oanda lots),
but its duration,
according to Emmanuel, Davit waits weeks or months until he closes his trades with some gains showing lots of micro pips won but the money earned $ is lower than the floating losses he may have suffered.
P.S:
I am on your ignore list, I thought you were to supposed to ignore my posts...
