For my purpose USDJPY switched to a downtrend on Monday but I don't trade trends unless it goes the extra mile and proves it on Tuesday.

USD/JPY ignoring levels and just continuing to go down down. May be a multi day move.

Sentiment update.
The trade is 4xjunkie long to 115.495 darth pip short to 107.5 first strike wins.

4xjunkie,ohlc,nagamas,Nicholishen,csc2009,kingoswing,pipqueen18 are in the green camp.

darthpip,nagamas,Mr.yen,SckT, catroot,totsky, are the red camp.
axecap is short to 107

kasper,mwfinad1211 is out for now.
moneyfocus dumped his longs.

Hi, my method is quite simple, consists of a set of :
(1) Multitimeframe Support n Resitance Bar/Area ;
(2) Bollinger Band and Moving Average to indicate volatility and trends ;
(3) Channels and Trendlines ;
(4) Price Action at the SR Bar.

I was trying to remember everything from the past. then one day back in august i randomly looked over at my odlest daughter and said im going to try something different tonight. im going to draw out the chart as it printing and see how close i can get. after the session i l zoomed out the chart and i saw the same chart on the movie. then the flood gates came back to me. im still getting bits and pices. ive been here a number of times before. its just hard to remember it all. that why the last few weeks have been hit and miss. I did not want to miss this part because of you get it wrong you are going to take a hit every time. the only unclear part is the next low to the pip. it is similar to this just takes longer. if your stop is at 112.5 you will make it. just cant remember if it is a low .7x or a high .6x.

thankyou, so which camp do you want to be in?? for a beginner i would suggest that you learn about fibs, support and resistance, trend lines/ channels, structure is a biggy, and the basics of the harmonic patterns. im not much of a harmonic trader it just happens to be one here, after this trend blew up my demo account like 5 times chasing this thing like the hottest chick in town i burned it into my mind, every time is plays out i get better at the play by play. im normally still chasing my ass at this point, getting better every time.

ill give you your first journal entry, that little bull post i just put up make a journal and save it. that is what the bull looks like there. then for a challenge i will give you the bear after you get 3 calls. right. can be more than 3 attempts but you have to have a positive pnl after 3 winners. and not 3 scalpes. 3 decent trades. you have to wait for price to come and fill your order and not get stoped out. reasonable sotps, a tp's fair evough.

I sell to 111.670 now, maybe pass to 110.200

Reasons:
1. W1 candle formation tend to bearish and price seems tightening with the mid band as the central. The trendline might be crossed later after this downmove

2. At D1 chart, candle has already crossed the TL and seems heading to next support bar.

no way. big sell is at 115.4x got to go up then down then up then big sell. but there is a nasty suprtise before we even get close to the low. (again from memory)) that is only going to close to get there next time. this should finish with a string bull impulse.

ill be nice and re draw you chart for you. heads up. lol

how dose that fit into your stratagy, my accuracy is a bit off. bit i think you get what im tryin to say. 114 is next. what do you have down at 112.8-6 not 5

this is about how different strategy speak about where the price will heading. Mine is based on price moving average. I obey what the big TF moving average tells me. At least, I might be change my view for bullish if daily and weekly moving average are inline in heading to upward.

The resistance bar with arrows below will tell me do make further decision.

thanks for the tips. Now I gotta do more reading on how these indicators will help me know better how movements will be.

Btw, how do we determine price range for stoploss? My stoplosses have been very bad. Any other platforms that we can possibly interact so that I can ask further if I have questions? (If both of you don't mind). I gotta wait for mods to approve my reply, posts probably coz I'm still new.. thanks in advance

mine is where is it going, it is always going somewhere, the question is always where and when. so i look at is as when i see something that works absolutely perfect every time, i map it out so when im there again i can get every pip out if. it. that is my problem with stratages, when they work they work, can catch some nice moves. I want every pip it will give within 10% 5 on each side for the spread. unless i know the exact number. ate there times when you know your stratagy is giving off false entrys and you just learn to ignor them?
