USD/JPY Discussion

I just saw the scariest thing ever within USD/JPY, 2017.10.26 00:55. There was a clear single algorithm at work in this 5 minute bar. Price went up and down between 113.680 and 113.688 at exactly 1 second interval, the whole 5 minutes! That's right, 300 times up and down between the same pipettes (1-2 pipette difference occasionally). Only on U/J, have not seen this movement elsewhere. Makes you wonder how someone is able to literally control 100% a major at the end of day close.

I always keep my eye on the unreal Dow avg, my barometer of the markets. A lot of heavy volume, significantly higher than average over the past several days, and no rise in price. For me this thing has been dancing on the head of a pin, and the slightest feather will start the waterfall. There is no reason for it to be this high, unless it's being held their purposely....What goes up must come down, spinning wheels got to go round.....

It's Dow/S&P earnings season. Of course its not moving up OR down much until all major companies report.

Average is 200M, Dow putting in 400M plus, and price isn't rising, Hmmmm.....

BTW Dow had a 200 point range today which is above average.

Yes Sun, but 2 of the heaviest volume days were selling days...Market is way overdue for serious correction!
Remember Wall St is tied to the world. When the dow falls, all markets go with it...

And last week someone posted about Hong Kong dropping -2.4% overnight of the 30 year anniversary of Black Friday which happened to have started back then in ... Hong Kong. And what followed here in the U.S.? Big fat nothing.

Of course a correction is coming. Maybe it started already. Or maybe it is months away. I love going short. I caught a nice short on the Dow this morning. Only wish I held longer than I did.

Trading is about reacting, not predicting. Let it happen first otherwise you will be spending time and energy worrying about something that might be who knows how long off in the future.

Exactly high volume ... at the bottom. Tops form with diminishing volume. Buying drying up. Volume increasing once the drop is underway.

I am a demo trader. thank you for the encouragement. other places in the factory its crusification. it is a business, the first one ever i can screw up as many times as necessary without becoming home less. i could at this point scrape by but thats about it not, i cant tell you how many hundreds of hours ive watched this pair. this time its been 3 months. the others dont catch my eye like the yen pairs. eurusd overrated in my opinion, you and catch some nice moves but not like this girl. the first scalp got me it was 1 micro lot turned into $240 in like 20 minutes. granted it was during the financial collapses of 2008. what a great time to learnt to trade. go figure ive been in the bull rant for weeks and honestly, selling feeds my apatite. Im a gear head at heart, so i like anything fast or has more horsepower than whats recommend for the border line lunatic. now were talkig. if it takes fuel and oil you will get my attention. it is sounds like pissed off thunder when it starts up you have my undivided attention. kinda like a strong bear impulse. lots of bear power i guess.. can we make a pissed off bull bear indicator them we could measure how volatile it is when the mental break happens.
still waiting for the bull impulse to stop dead in its tracks at 114.00. once this happens please look at the cadence i posted, the last time this happened i was quiet ( believe that)i was not comfortable being so open. I seen a lot of people loost there hard earned pips. im confident in my trade recomendations. my biggest issue is its all been from what i can remebmer, this will be the last so i devised my play book with the trades i know i can win. I have lost a few trade recomendationsbut when im right watch out. im still in the green for pips. after the 5 bounce trade i showed everyone. that was just a taster of whats to come.with the pending impulses. i did really step out there and post the 1000 pip trade. (its goint to take a couple of trades) just waiting for actvation. ill let you know when it happens. it stop dead cold in her track at 114. if you think im full of it. put the lines on your chart, ive traded it a number of times. Ive done it so many times its kinda borinng except for the activation impulse to 114.00 then the big girl from 112.7x to 115.495.
what ive liked hanging out on the thread is im actually doing a better job with my home school map making. (charting) I not going anywhere i just got caught up in the excitment. and truly wanting to help people make the correct decisions. that i lost focus. im not there yet, its better if i tell what i know when i seee it, or like now whats going to happen just a little check and balance. policy. when you loose 3 in a row you have to take a step back and revaulate. as most can tell im pretty close most of the time. but that has been my biggest issue is, is what happens when. heres a good laught they gave me an almost photographic memory, that thing works like the biggest hard drive in the world, but its more like going to a library before computers, if i forgert to put the index card back. well if your old enought, you know. sellers be warned.strong bullimpuls pending. shes just about there. last night iremembered that we nedded a new high for the trend at this point but fail the 114.5 highs. then i normally think that 112.7x is next then i found the index card.

I just thought of a new rule for myself. one trade recommendation a day if i win i will try again if i get stopped out. have to sit the next move out. lets see how that goes.
a tight 2 to 1 on the risk reward, may pan out. sellers just be ready for the bullish impulse. its pending.

I see divergence on the macd but not on the rsi. metatrader 5 i believe will let you watch the indicators oscillate at an accelerated pace of time. with the history playback i found the the when the stochs go over bought or oversold they can tent to hang there. or bounce in and out like you have there. a llittle of both. if it works for you great was not my cup of tee.
