Ben, I know you like your podcasts. Don't know if you listened to this one from Grant but was a good listen re 1987 crash and similarities that are setting up today. Gold, Crude, 10 Year all set up for a break. I like the similarities between the old portfolio insurance that were run back then and the ETFs.

This is for Bones, I do not post elsewhere usually because I do not want donkey kongs asking questions or positing stupid bs...also my charts are valuable and only want to share with my friends...

E.g. only post eurusd...dumb...what is one half of it, well usd, so chart that shows usd strength or weakness is valuable...I already said and posted ucad is dxy or lfx sometimes...duh.... let's say I can post a chart of my @ss and it is valuable as it is representative of a similar situation, well then I want to see that chart of my @ss....in fact I would want to see a chart of your @ss as long as it germane and I will not go blind looking at it...

I stole his chart as mine have crazy stuff like levels and fibs and posted this before but now we have more information....

think h and s target is same as harmonic hmmm...should not be that easy....generally expectation is higher but has been weakened significantly

Taking an interesting look at history. Crude setup similar to set up in 86 which lead to an inflation increasing prior to 87 crash. Break of crude indicated a red flag for inflation, which caused rates and end of easy money for the time. A couple of patterns for crude. Don't know what the catalyst for the break will be but the chart is standing by. If history repeats, the break would lead to inflation, leading to end of easy money for the time. If Saudis can help push the break prior to their IPO then that sets up a perfect storm for some time in 2018 for a 1987 style.

10 year has same breaking pattern in yields. Higher crude, higher 10 years. Money rotation.

Any thought Scott?

think those are great charts, wti is sneaky bullish, I am an inflation agnostic at the moment, we are in wave 3 of 5 of 5 stocks so we need a 4 soon.....

Yes paused to go either way. I think though the chart says higher and Red Flags inflation leading to a crisis. Interesting that Bond Yield break higher has nearly always signalled a rotation and sell of in equities withing 6 to 12 months.

10 Year and Crude charts are the important ones I think.

Chart of Dollar Index and Crude. A lower dollar will help the inflation story.

I've been long this trade from below and confirmation here stands out as a good longer term trade for continued long or entry. Good risk reward and obvious stop level now to get out. Fed appointment is going to have a factor I think.

Interesting look and different dynamics. Maybe why inflation is just not working at the moment. High Dollar, low crude.

Great charts here showing ECB the only ones buying debt. ECB and QE decision this week. Bund is interesting top action as well. In a waiting pattern.

Really enjoyable. He produces some very slick stuff. I remember the day well because it came with a hurricane that felt like it uprooted the country. My bedroom was in the attic and the sound the wind and the falling trees was out of this world. We lost huge old oak trees in our garden and it flattened great swathes of England that Sunday/Monday night. There was no school for a few days and all you could hear was the sound of chainsaws the smell of wood chips and petrol everywhere for some time after. I've never seen such a mess. This a great clip of a well known weatherman that will never be forgotten over here, well, by those of a certain age I suppose.
