it is a system or a I would say a methodology with theoretical basis.

You are right you have to trade a constant width channel the same way whatever the way you build the channel

Gap UP of 65 points this morning on the Euro , roughly 1/2 of the Amplitude of the Envelope 256 Time Units (here 5 min)

Thanks.. from hereinafter please use MN only for month and Min or min or m or M for minute.. Otherwise members might misunderstand the timeframes you are using.. Month always with MN..

a) basically it depends of the way you build your Envelope from the Top or from the Bottom

from the Bottom when you have found the right "vibration" (Gann Octave) to which your financial instrument is the most sensitive, you just have to DOUBLE your parameters to adapt the chart to a change in the Price Range or in the Timeframe

conversely if you build your Envelope from the Top you HALVE your parameters

b) I use here Trading View

Time Frame or Time Units are 1min, 5 min , 30 min (6 x 5 min) , 60 min (2 x 30 min) , 120 min (2 x 60 min), Days, and Weeks

london used to be harsh on euro but after asia surprise, seems like the week will now depend on ny. i added a few longs but have to admit things are not going too smooth.
