Newbies are surely impress with those thousand of pips and win rates of 90+% and sometimes 100%. Newbies don't get to see the floating drawdown and accounts being top up to avoid margin calls. One or two months of losses can wipe out a whole year of profits gambling this way.

After NFP last Friday and today weaker retails sales data, USD Index dips.

That AUDCAD 'strong buy' was better that NZDCAD.

I know a few traders took that AUDCAD this morning during Tokyo morning.

I think most of you know by now how to pick the A+++ Price Action setups. If you still don't know, you should not be keeping quiet.

what would be lot size / s/l / which tf better h1 or h4
as i am from india .ineed some clarification
trading timing also. now i am making some profit but there also some losses

Useful Pivot Point indicator. can be turned on and off by the button on the left of the chart to save cluttering the chart.

Hi friends hope you all had a good trading week. Here is my weekly report, nothing like Emmanuel though.
Took 3 trades this week 2 good 1 bad, In hindsight I should of got out the lossing trade a lot sooner but a lesson learnt.

We must not predict where price may go when we are trading. But by studying price action analysis, we are using leading edge techniques.
Its strange how often such 'predictions' is 80%+ accurate.

Have you read all of the OP's posts in FF?
Do you know how he traded with $10k account deposit?

You know by now that I don't look at trade results on daily and weekly and monthly basis. I look at every 20 trading days cycle for special reasons.

do you have your top down analysis done?
if you only started MEME trading for these pairs (exception is XAUUSD which I do not trade like forex) on Monday this week, the game is not over yet. You still have the next 15 days which you can do several things for example, - to breakeven any open basket of trades, attempt to do recovery of losses, ....

post your Big Picture Plan and your trade plane for these pairs. I will do my usual POMO (post mortem) with explanation on charts. Hindsight is 20:20 but doing POMO will explain the pre-trade analysis, the trade plan approach and the thought process when we trade.

You cannot have 100% win rate in one day only to lose everything the next days.
You cannot have 100% win rate in one week only to lose everything in the next weeks.
You cannot have 100% win rate in one month only to lose everything in the next months.
You need a SMART™ objectives and a win rate which you can sustain over a longer term of 3 to 5 years with CONSISTENCY.

Treat trading as a business. In every business you need to achieve positive cash flow. I look at cash flow which is one of my primary objective when I trade short term forex along with my longer term stock trading.

Talking about some good trade setups, how about CADJPY. I can see a good opportunity presenting itself soon on the day chart. We are presently within a master candle (or a weekly control candle) with the price presently dropping down to the bottom of the master candle to hopefully end around the 88.95 mark. Its normal for the price action then to move up and touch the top of the range at around the 91.5. See the two other master candles on the weekly chart. In both cases, the price action visited the top and bottom of the range. These would of been great trade setups when seen on a weekly candle. Next week, I would need the price to drop further before I place a buy trade on the Day chart with a take profit at around 91.5.
I have my finger ready for a buy around low 89's, strong TDI cross.
Lets see if the market is kind to me.

Would you please explain option 2? I do not understand why you would set a TP and then reopen. Why not leave the order on? What is the point of taking it out and then putting a new order on again?

Trading with a large SL but confidence in your system leads to larger profits and checking charts less often.

Trading with a tight SL and TP mean you are more subject to news events but much less exposure (taking the meat of the moves, because finding tops and bottoms is difficult and sometimes costly).

Both have capital requirements attached, it's mentally difficult to withstand large drawdowns when your strategy is based on a Daily/Weekly master candle...

Big hedge fund guys trade off of a Monthy master candle...

But this is without mentioning position sizing...

I really want to go short UJ following the dollar index pinbar to catch this swing. Waiting for TDI cross might be missing an opportunity. Thoughts?
EDIT: Saw the entry signal on the D1 chart. Going short when the markets open.
