Daaaamn.. I spend 2.5 hours watching this guys videos and he's a crook.. harsh beans Mr Larry Sir... Harsh beans indeed.

I actually enjoyed the videos; the astro stuff was a little outside of my comfort zone but each to there own.

They had their disagreement, Mr C can trade. But Larry wrote some good stuff, Trade What You See is an excellent book.

but think another spike to 120 is possible. The only problem I have with it is the B leg if it is one doesn't feel deep enough for the distance of current trend. If it breaks through, looks like125? the deeper larger pattern is still possible. Will wait for the signal and follow the process on this one.

Closed all short on this pair, flat and staying out at the moment. I prefer up top for a sell and down below for a buy but the buying op could come here. But it is losing its goldilocks status with the benefit of the OCR spread disappearing. If it could only pop back up to 92.50, 93.00. That's my trade again.

A couple of EU from a few weeks ago gives a closer look at order flow and volatility changing momentum at the 120 and areas to watch for existing positions.

as usual nice charts @squawk

EU is at decision area. nice structure at current levels maybe +30 pips and fall or continue up above 1.192 back to more push up or possible fall from 1.19. we have draghi later in the day ,lets see how it shapes up.

I stopped following news because I found it diverted me from my plan with generally negative results. Yesterday was a reminder when I bottled it on finding out about Yellen having a word or two to say. Oh well, I don't think ever stop tripping up in trading, you just get quicker at moving on.

Evening Ladies and Gents,

A small question to clarify understanding if I may.

I'm trying to get my nugget around harmonic ratios.

Let's say point A is 1.328 (this is all made up btw) and point B is 1.300

total 28 points. 28x0.618 = 17.

Retracement target is 1.317. which is point C ?

I am sure there is a simple way to do it with just using Fibo retracement levels, but I prefer to understand the concept before I utilise tool for speed.

apologies for the simple question; I just want to build on a strong foundation of understanding.

As an afterthought, would it be a good idea to make a spreadsheet with the ratios on. That way, I can add A + B to the spreadsheet and I would be able to quickly calculate the price for the retracements and extensions? or am I overcomplicating it?
