Try trading some m6e next week to get used to fills etc on some not so liquid instruments. You will need to get used to it since NQ can slip you some in market orders or jump over your limits as it's not like ES or Z* with higher liquidity. Use L2 to locate where there's market.

I use limit orders all the time and can't remember last time I got slipped

Limits don't get slipped, some time they get jumped over. Market orders get slipped quite often in NQ.

in the settings you choose left or right.....

so i'm coming to a realization that i'm looking at the wrong profile timeframe when trading.

so i know there are 3 types of traders
scalpers, day/swing, position

i consider myself to be in the day/swing trader. I basically try to take advantage of ranges. usually 30-50% of the daily range as my take home pips. i think i need to look beyond just yesterday's structure to set up my positions. i'm thinking last 3 days would help me look at the bigger picture as a day/swing trader.

test #6 will commence next week as i update my analysis rules..

if you're using fixed profile, it will end up where you select the end time is and you can then choose which way that profile points left or right.

but if you want it all the way to the right, you can use visible range, but this means you have to maintain the data you want

also i use ticks per row, instead of number of rows. you can specify you tick size (i choose 1)
