The EURUSD has been very sluggish because of USD Columbus Day Holiday. It's nice to see it is finally picking up after I've already exited.

My Intraday Outlook.
(ahead London)

Pale NFP move... EUR/USD still in the range.

My intraday resistance:
-1.1750; 1.1770 (Monthly_mid zone)

My intraday support:
- 1.1700; 1.1660 (Monthly+Weekly_S1)

I feel ...bearish(!) ...Catalans will decide?

what do you think about selling at the blue line aiming for the bottom of the side channel?

missed the train to go long for less than my risk...the signal was weak.....

here ( around 45) I have all sort of resistance ....and a possible DT...looking for a good reversal....

Very reasonable setup!
(you can also set the SL little above the red upper edge of the bearish channel aiming for the red lower edge for a nice RR ratio )

EUR/USD: Upside Correction Due Before Market Resumes Downward


*TREND : Bearish
*MARKET STRUCTURE : Head & Shoulders formation
*ELLIOTT WAVE : Sub-wave 4 of (3) is irregular.
The market still showing bearish tendency.The H&S neckline breakout , the trading below the moving average, the Elliott wave count and the time studies all supports the bearish trend, BUT the last hesitated small downside swings with price/oscillators divergence indicates that the market is due for an upside correction toward1.1830-50 to complete the mini-wave c of the irregular sub-wave 4 of (3) before the euro resuming its downward toward 1.1600-1.1580 with slight possibility to extend toward 1.1460 to complete wave (3).
A CLOSE ABOVE 1.1860 WILL ABORT THE ABOVE BEARISH SCENARIO.

As long as 1.17800 holds I'm also bearish on this one but I'd like to see a break 1.16800 for the confirmation of a larger bearish move. I think now we need to shake of the disappointing NFP data before the Dollar picks up momentum again.

there is also a bull view on this...the large bear flag is also a falling wedge..... Prices were rejected at 1.17 which is the bottom of the wedge........now we are at the top of it.... a good break above it can take this to 1.18

oanda users, do you see strange shape in candels? Since this morning my screen shows only half width candles as shown in the attached picture. Any clue?

By clicking the +/- control from the vertical scrollbar, you increase/decrease the candle width & height...
