It is not SL hunting.. not manipulation.. EU weak all day just because of USD was stronger than enough... Anyways incoming week will make it more clear... i am on bull side.. by the way....

That bull bar is massive, it closed above the previous shit load of bars, and closed on its high. It was a clear break out of a tight trading range. The follow through however was not the best but after that initial doji bear bar (5m chart) the market continued to rally higher within a tight bull channel for a further 6 bars. If anything there was a decent scalp long off the close of that bull bar.

Monday, the Catalonian parliament will meet to declare the independence of Catalonia...

The Catalonian parliament session on Monday has been declared illegal also, so the police violence will come back...

Mate , the Catalonian independence is a fact , priced in the market allready........ It is not the end of EUnion ... there will be other similar events in the future, IMHO . Spain can live without them . Catalonia can live without Spain . End of film .

the US figures were good today ... Those who trade on fundamantals let think for a while ...

Not completely sold on top and bottom idea ,,,,,,eur does have some work to do yet,,,,,,,,a pop thru the quarterly pivot and retest then to Quarterly open then on to monthly price average (200 sma 4 hour) would be a good start, angle Im looking at anyway atm, you have a great weekend too man

Not really, there is a big chance for more police violence and instability (possibly even civil war), because Spain will not let go them easy. It may have bigger impact on EUR.

Catalonia will not become independent. Think about it, there is no infrastructure independent of Spain in place, no trade agreements with other countries, no individual currency or central banking system, cannot travel to another country that does not recognize them, etc, etc, etc.

Catalonia independence is inevitable. The question is: how far Spanish government can go trying to stop it.
Those issues (infrastructure, currency, etc.) are common for every country seeking independence, but it didn't stop any of them.

keep in mind that no country ever agreed spliting and stil happened.
catalonia has his own government, minister, president, his own administration.
plus, the spain government apologized for police brutality. so they will not use them again in a non violent matter.
so this is something that can go both sides...

It certainly broke through the channel as I suspected. I am now waiting for an opportunity to short again. This time the strategy is to do a heavy short where I think it's peaked with a 2% SL. Once it has dropped, I'll do a break even SL and then walk away for a few days and see what happens. The 200 SMA (white) and 50 SMA (yellow) are not close to a crossover so we are still in vulnerable ground. If it goes against me then I'll keep looking for peaks to short.

prices this week tried to get to 1.18 but after 3 pushes up and followed by an LH after a failed range BO (also a opening morning reversal and a TL bounce) went strongly to 1.17 instead...

prior to news today she made a double bear flag and made a new low at 1669 and then reversed after 3 pushes down and fail final flag at the channel line of the wide bear channel.....

The day ended with a strong bull bar at the magnet level at 1735 followed by a pause/flag...

I will post a chart on request if is not clear....but is good if you look at the chart and try to see what I mean first (60m)

I did not trade this today.....but only faded the news on UJ with two trades.....trade one failed with -15 pips (my risk), second trade made 50 pips with the double top.....

looking forward to trade on Monday....
