I suggest to look at the "3 Ducks", "3 little pigs" and even 200 EMA strategies. Get the picture of the higher timeframes with the 89 SMA to filter out bad entries.

100 or 120 is more usual. The markets dont see another sma.

Thanks for the update... my trading plan is quite similar to yours

It's just I rely more on Tenkan/Kijun Cross than the Kumo cloud; and also add 100 & 200 SMA along with 89

Sometimes I use 34 & 55 SMA as well for some short term trades.
