AMP looks decent and they have what i need..but their size is little small based on FCM data. about 60mil . Even oanda has bigger account than this...

i think there's one disadvantage of futures; the fact that you can't continuously increase size as you make money

in forex, i can continously increase lot size (with oanda to precise micro) as my balance increases (think exponential growth)

with NQ for example, i'm stuck trading 1 car for say every 5k. i can't just trade 1.1 car or 1.5 car, etc, otherwise my margin gets riskier. i have to wait till my account increases to some threshold to double my contract. my % gain gets progressively smaller teh better i do until i increase my contract..

assume you're a great trader, i think forex market will give you the biggest bang for your efforts everytime..

Forex: (US trader>>Margin 50:1)
10 lots requires $23,495

Futures: (Broker with margin requirement $500/contract daytrading)
10 contracts requires $5,000

Forex easier with small $$ amounts but accounts trading multiple lots/contracts have lower margin requirements with futures. If you're willing to trade forex with high margin why not trade futures with high margin?

started incorporating 6E's profile instead of any particular forex broker. Since 6E is the official volume and price, this fixes all the discrepancies between forex brokers.

only issue is, my data is 10 minutes delayed. this is not a probelm since i dont' need live profile to be updated constantly to make trades throughout the session.

live CME data is $90/month..unless of course i have a CQG broker that uses tradingview...(no thanks for now)

if you can make much sense of it, check Locks Cable thread, he uses MP and describes everything + seems to understand and know pretty much everything about it

more than me anyway so trying to pick up a few things from him this weekend wont go a miss

Hi hilmy83. I just had a look through your trading journal and wanted to ask you something.
On this journal you have attached my Trade Explorer along with your own Trade Explorer.
As I have not noticed anyone asking you about the reason that you have attached my TE along with your TE hence I humbly ask you the reason?
I have no offence or reservations though.

but in all seriousness, i just wanted to attach another TE that are consistently profitable. There are many out there, but i can only attach 2 at a time. The reason is purely for fun. to see how i fare with what i think is the best looking TE...

check yesterday VAH, i was contemplating a long for +10, didnt take it, but im going to consider these next week

yesterday was up day, today morning sessions followed. this is similar to how div trades

updated my retracement rule. looking at all the other days, high/low breaks makes much more convincing reversals than some arbitrary location. will reset with test 5 with this update next week.

initial long 1819 should've held. so closed my short and re-entered long at worst price just so that i can be in the trade with the initial sentiment i had.

went short at 5936.50, s/l 5948

long at 5948 currently....
