MA17 LWWA trading strategy

Hello traders,

My system is to buy above the MA17 LWWA 1HR or sell below it. I then add positions to it as price moves accordingly until the days target profit is met.
Its taken three weeks of coding and debugging to ensure the EA trades like me manually. I am happy with it and now share it.

I have also added the template i use so you can see where open price is in relation to the moving averages. this template should be put on a 15 min chart.

thats the demo account running the EA. Just doing one more trading day test to ensure no bugs then go live.

Also need to trade a basket of currencies/ The Majors and HighVolatility pairs are my choice. You can load the EA on any time frame and not have to change the settings.
Unless you dont like BE 8pip profit 3pip jumping 24 pipis add position every 8pips.
then you can change to suit your trading style

any backtest results?

Basket trading is encouraged so that a big move one currencies pairs will make enough profit to close out the losers.
Thhere is a standard 200 pip stop loss. Though i would prefer not to trde with it as hedging is incorporated in this strategy.

Let me reveal the code secret;
if open price is 8 pips(distance between trade pips
position added 8 pips above highest buy or 8 pips below highest buy.
position added 8 pips above lowest buy or 8 pips below lowest buy.

same for sell trades.

That fellow traders is the gravy of forex trading. I would have to sit behind that screen most of the time in order to add positions and break even them.
But now you have the code that took me some years to figure when i bought some grid trading robot with out source.

What I wanted is when price goes up positions are added when price comes but price not having high enough then positions opened to close in break even profit.
But if price decides to move up again then those same level postions need to open again.

I belive this code does it so perfectly. Please if you make some money on it. Donate to organistaions helping people get out of poverty

none.I have just looked at charts withs the MaA and have seen it has potential.
Also manually trading it has been profitable

At the end of the day being able to start trading with a 200 usd account is the objective . Might need to start at 500. but 200 usd would be a bonus

Did this thread go away? If not how can I stop the alarms and leave the EA on? Can I get an explanation of all the variables and the effect the settings have on trades?

Think a set file is necessary.

There was a bug in the file posted above. I have plugged it. I have added a bollinger band filter of period 12 deviation 1 one hour chart.
Also a safety measure has been added. There are event risks that can send price flying in a flash crash , in the opposite direction to your position.
Well the new version places 5 stop orders with minimum distance signals apart. so if you have a swiss day or brexit
or trump vote the EA is geared for that.Even some north korea news. every hour it deletes the old buystops and places new ones
based on where price is now. please test the best distance between signal pips and the break even .
I find 8 pips and above signals is better. Less draw down.Sleep happy

Also if you start with 200 usd balance then the market moves the balance
goes to 230 and equity is 215. close all the trades so that you have a215 balnce.
trade at start of asia if no move hold through to london open . when you have equity profit close
also close within two hours of londn open. take your losses.

open at new york close at london close

I will be commenting based on the trade exporers running the forward test.
the 6 pip had a huge draw down 20 percent this morning during the asia session.
But at london it has raked huge pips. one snag a number of buystops were activated during roll over.
8 pips is raking not as much but the draw down is low. the 15pips is slow at raking in and draw down is low.
i havenot closed 6 pips even though it has equity to216 usd from initial balance of 200usd because the orders open have been opened during london.
previous session orders all closed. nice
