in the thick of it it's easy to be confused , honestly I've tried those but don't fully understand them I personally wouldn't use a indicator that reduces the chart ,as price is the very best even divergence you only need price going forward your be continually confused and looking back I would recommend you keep a good eye on gbp aud as its poss there's a easy stress-free runaway trade there to the gap ,no longing aud usd we can look each time the next month is bullish but this time I suspect it will break free to reach for the gap maybe open through...

Do you consider that a possibility to be announced this week? Wouldn't that be another USD bullish factor?

I see 3 basic scenarios as:
1. EU down in lead up to FED, then move up sharply
2. EU up in lead up, then move down sharply
3. Large spikes in both directions on the day (or large spike one way before settling in the other direction).

I maintain a medium term short bias but am doing my best to partial hedge and try and climb the hedges down, just kicking myself that I was too slow with entries long at 1.184 and now will keep longs at 1.188 and 1.194 instead of being able to close the latter in profit / breakeven on the latest move up.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Given I'm in Australia I won't be volunteering to stand next to you to help enforce your rules! Only wisdom I can suggest is stick to your rules or if you must break them do so with reduced position size. At least then you make smaller mistakes. I only traded AU for a long time and when I started trading EU and EJ it was with smaller positions. If that wasn't the case I would probably be in a much worse position than you at present. As it is my position is not great but I'm still sticking to my guns, learning and have confidence that situation will improve. Good luck with sticking to your rules.

Its not betting...when you say you think GU will go to 1.05, are you betting then? I thought you base your numbers on the chart and your predictions and not just just on what you want or hope to happen.

Does anyone have an idea of why the US dollar index on investing.com shows 91.65 right now, since it closed at 91.83 on Friday? Gap already?
