My "small" monthly is approaching SL. In August it succeeded in taking a good profit. From evidence here, we must begin to consider to trade Monthly setup using FXM Strength selector and CCFp for Weekly. Anyway it needs at least 6-months of data to draw any early conclusion for this long term setups.

I Kaiman i did ok with GVC Dash this month, i used TT only - closed yesterday at +12,000 pips DD was about -4500, Sadly it was on Demo ...

My monthly basket is not faring so well either. On Wednesday it finally swung around into profit around +400 pips, but today I see it gone back into DD floating on around -500 pips now. This basket is a mix of CCFp and Strength using the FXM indie.

Now on my weekly baskets things are doing really well. Currently floating on almost +6000 pips for this week.

I know i can't only use this but it is just for testing purposes. I want to be sure it opens a signal when there is actually a signal. On the picture you see that it opened 10 positions but the basket is empty. What ive noticed is when the bar ends, it shows some positions(signals) but dissapears few seconds later.
My setting where that the basket should open at 15:01, so i give it 1 mintute more to be sure it opens the right trade. Ive also enabled "if new trades appears on list add " to basket".

After some testing ive dissabled "if new trades appears on list add to basket" because the list refreshes after 1 hour, so this is not needed.

what i want- basket is looking every hour for new signals and opens signals for new pairs and close if opposite signal apears.

TT is doing well this month. My experience with this setting adding the BBSqueeze (4 hours) is that you have two different tradings whereas TF/FF/FT are selling and TT are buying. This month it happened that the sell trades were opened at the lowest points and the buy trades at the highest points. It may only happens for this month, but my feeling is that I was trapped in a setup that I am only making losses and therefore needed to limit my losses. Hence I didn't wait till the end of the month and closed it manually.

Are you trading Weekly signals on daily basis? The CCFpDiff indicator in your picture shows weekly signals.

in order to have the EA look at the basket every hour. you need to enter the hours in the following manner:

Example:
00:00,05:00,06:00,09:00,11:00,13:00,15:00
But this will not work for what you want to do. What will happen is that the EA will each hour add the pairs that it sees in the basket. So your list may increase.
This is only true if you have either "Flip Open Trade if Newer Suggestion Is Opposite" and "if new trades appears on list add to basket" set to false.

The EA goes into continuous mode. It continuously monitors the basket for both conditions. But it does not allow trades that are already in the basket to be taken again... however this approach does not meet the conditions you are asking for cause the EA is in continuous scan mode of the baskets.


At this moment the type of requests you are asking for are not available in the fashion that you indicate.

I don't fully know about others and will read more... but have seen some good results from someone already...
but this for me has been the most powerful week ever since i started_
Only part of this baskets are Live and the rest is Demo
I think that this systems works better for me when i am on holiday simply because
i forget the baskets and the difference of timE, but i still remember my hotel room number
I am a bit in pain because of my lack of skills in explaining things
but will probably try to open a new thread to explain how the "sequence and the cryptogram stuff" works
time permitting and hopefully someone of the intelligent and experienced traders on here will help me too
I really wish everyone the good pips that you want... hours and hours and weeks and months of trying and trying
and when you make it, you feel there is still something that it is not right .... but we luv it and we do it _
Special thanx to xmess for creating this Robot, the baskets are nothing but mixes of all the baskets that i have tried
and that worked based on past records according to the located "market type"
There are also a couple of Tpl from Nesta which have proven to be winners_
Hopefully when i get back will organize things and will post some tpl for someone wanting to try them_

Jess I'm still having that problem with the monthly pip count. I'm not complaining as it says -660 pips on the monitor, but I'm $81+ so that means I'm actually +810 pips.

I'm really not sure why they don't match but just to let you know. The only trades running on this platform are from the monthly basket, all weekly baskets have been closed. Weird right?

what lot sizes did you use? As they say, you never should risk more than 2% of your account (pushing it 5%). Even if your lot sizes were 0.01, running a few baskets each with 5 pair would be very unwise.

I find this interesting, because making tons of pips one week and give them back the following one is a road to nowhere. Instead, these "smaller " setups made of a single basket are easier to manage, overall risk is lower and provided they have most of the weeks like this one it should be enough to make a living. How long have you traded this setup and which are your results ?

This is the first week and I plan to continue to check the results.
I am not the kind of person to trade with no stop loss or larger SL than take profit. Just makes no sense to me.
I hope using the weekly signals will now make it easier to set SL TP since the # of pairs to trade may not fluctuate so much. Just a thought.
I also dont trade CHF or NZD pairs.

Hmm, what is the indi that you use? I never have such kind of problem with fxm and never use other ccfp diff indies on lower tf with that system. Perhaps that's bug or something that basically the signals should last at least for an hour in 1h bar.

Laurentq i think the signal were taken before and then they disappeared for a while
i got a similar case /// and to make sure all is fine i have screenshots
so that i can see what was going on before the Ea took the trades
and i can assure you the pairs were there _
Ccfp pairs tend to disappear from list when there is some kind of range
so that could have been the cause of it
I know my photo is not exactly your case but that was just to show that it can happen some times yes

Hey buddy

Sorry about the late reply only just saw your question

I set the tp and sl at 40 pips per trade. So 1:1. Works nicely. At that demand, you don't stay in the market too long but still get a decent return. Hope that helps.
