if today confirm to PINBAR at D1,take it SHORT!

I still have my short from yesterday and holding.
I can see that on the daily we have room to move up to 11.250 level but on the Hourly and below I see bearish on the MA's

15 pip range for 4 hours.

Market movers waiting for that CPI print. Missed expectations 5 times in a row. A .3 or above and UJ likely takes an easy ride to 111 and above. I rarely benefit from news and I'm short from 110.61 so I would imagine CPI will be good and my shorts will get taken out @110.85 ish (come on reverse psychology do your thing)

USD/JPY reached 110.60 as I thought it would and formed a high at 110.73. I think if it breaks out above that level it will keep rallying to 111.00 or even to 112.00.

Right now the USD is falling due to bad sentiment before the news. At the same time USD/JPY rallies like crazy................ Go figure !

If CPI and Core CPI are measured right and the result equals or better than predicted, then the inflation is picking up in USA. In my opinion this is a little strange, as economists and strategists are increasingly worried about frozen state of the inflation in USA. Something is not right.
What are your thougths about that guys?

whatever the outcome of CPI, market movers will try to reach 111 because there are increase in short positions so hunting game is on. uptrend is still on, maybe not 111 but 110.90 might be reached

Well if the powers that be want to keep the dollar from getting too strong, then having CPI continually miss is certainly a good way to help make that happen.

As you say "economists and strategists" are increasingly worried. That perception is perfect fuel for negative sentiment towards the US dollar. Remember, the two main barometers for future rate hikes are employment and inflation. On the surface employment is acceptable, with inflation being the big question mark. The longer that question mark remains, the longer the FED can kick the future rate hike can down the road, thus keeping the dollar in check.

Honestly, I find it hard to take most economic red news numbers too seriously. I'm not a conspiracy theory kind of person but it wouldn't surprise me to find out the FED makes policy based on who their in bed with, and that these economic numbers are manipulated to paint the necessary picture to make their desired outcome plausible in the eyes of the sheep
