DislikedNFP data did well for my weekly basket. DD was a little high earlier in the week but by around Wednesday it really started kicking into profit and today it sky rocketed thanks to NFP.This is the standard setting weekly basket and still one of my favorites 4 months later. {image}

Disliked{quote} Hello mrdfx, Your weekly baskets both 3/5 and 5/12 have very good results. I'm very impressed. Could you please let me ask you some question? 1.) Why you change the indicator from CCFp-Diff to FXM_Diff3? 2.) Do you used the options in FXM_Diff3 such as FXM Calculation, EQB or BBSqueeze in this indicator? Thank you so much. ps. I'm sorry for my English, it's not my native.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Well I like the FXM indie for its various customizing options. I'm not using any of those options for those weekly baskets that you mentioned but I am testing various other weekly baskets using EQB filter etc. FYI I have removed the 5/12 basket as initially it was doing very well but now after long term analysis and results it has not been so good, and now all my baskets are using the standard MA 3/5 setting.Ignored
Disliked{quote} From my testing I now find best not to mix time frames. I seek to discover a monthly set, a weekly set and daily set -- carefully optimised. EQB has zero benefits. It simply takes out for example values 3 and -3 ... no need to do that. This whole exercise is simply combinatorics--selecting best from lots of possible combinations. The fxMadness indi is immensely powerful when all three levels are used. And the buttons recently added can switch on / off each level so we can have more less candidates. For me best to use level 1 for...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Nice results Jenbols. Perhaps you can share this sets with the group. The market did not perform well yesterday, but i still hit 100+/150+ pips realistic target. I think it is better to have a realistic target on short term, than leave your trade to run the whole time. My personal target of 100+/150+ pips was hit for all the 4 times consecutively, as suggested by Nesta; 5:05, 9:05, 13:05 and 21:05. Using template Daily-Nesta-5-9sept-2017 with beta 44.

Disliked{quote} Hi Jan, You seem to have different settings on the CCFp indicator, the first screenshot show W1 and the second W1-Current It has to do with the settings in the indicator, there is a lot of information about it in this forum. Cheers, Piet {image}Ignored
DislikedLet me share my observations so far. Most set ups do well in the second and third week of the month... particularly between tues-thurs. Tues, wed and thurs seem to be yielding the kind of result i want to see. 1st and last week of the month have some peculiarities that i can't comprehend at the moment. For 1st week, maybe due to NFP. For the last week, maybe end of month effects. There is no one size fits all. you have to stick with one and master it... still admire xmess for his consistency. I run these weekly settings: xmess, FXP and a slightly...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Could share and would prefer to test a bit more to tell what works consistently and what happens because of luck ... but eventually consistent is a word that only applies when the market was in the same condtion or almost as the time when the result was positive_ so never mind that _ The Main issue is 4 things: Iam using Beta 34 for this, also i do not use a SL, and for those who use a SL they will claim it is a loss after their SL is hit, but a loss is not a loss until we decide that it is a loss, by closing it_ I use the previous Fxm the...Ignored

DislikedHi Xmess7, back from my holidays and gradually begininng to look at VPS where I left my settings running. I see something strange in release beta_44, see attached picture, SL reached and basket should be closed instead it's still open. I already noticed this behaviour and it seems that trades didn't close neither a preset hour (23:50 GMT). Btw, no errors in the EA execution detected- Best regards, Bubincka {image}Ignored
