I'd suspect that BOC (Bank of Canada) hiking the short term to a lot higher and talking of a suspected 4% GDP growth would cause some USD people to go to the CAD right? So that could/would mean possibly more USD weakness since we cannot get our shiz together... right?



but I take trends and don't solely go off of things like this.

I was in the same boat. sick and tired of stop losses. My account cannot accept anymore stops so I made some adjustments to my strategy a little bit. For this pair ONLY, I use stop losses if it is trending. However, No SL if it is ranging, I hedge instead if it goes against me. If it is confirmed that it bounces on S/R, I close one on profit and wait until it reaches the other one on BE or profit. May not be the best strategy but I just hate multiple stop losses and I felt like these are Broker's stop hunts.

I can't hedge ! I am in US. Same feeling. Thanks tho for share

You could use multiple accounts. Although this will force you to decrease your overall leverage... since if you wanted to be "fully hedged", you would need to cut your account (and leverage used) in half I think.

You might also want to consider hedging EXTREME moves with Nadex binary EURUSD options... So that you pay a small amount as worst case insurance for a big move to then cover your margin calls in the spot account. But I've not fully vetted and tested that yet - might be interesting to consider that though instead of Stop Losses. Different brokers honestly DO move/spike prices and feeds in order to stop out the known stoplosses they have.

forex is never fair game and i havent followed USDCAD in a very long time..... and i recovered the losses incurred on the USDCAD trade on my live account. im back to BE or close to BE from a really large drawdown of around -45% ish....
would say i got out and recovered well...

moving on.... testing out a system to trade GBPJPY on H1. risk rewards are ATLEAST 1:1but win rate is in the 80%s,

the whole point was that the USDCAD was not my trade, i had a friend trading with me a while back but he took a year long hiatus, so he wasnt managing the USDCAD trade. i had to intervene, wouldve done it earlier given the hindsight....

Happy we both did well on this mate. Two recent trades are cad ones today.

Dude 10 hours a day I am trading from my phone while driving! I physically can't have another account to manage. The only time I do my calculations on desctop is after work or on weekends. I forgot when I slept more than 3 hours last time! But I am on my way to trading only!

made it down to 1940 on the London close. Could go down, could go up! That's my analysis lol. 1950 holds and we can see 1930 again. 1950 breaks and we can see a push to 1980.
